As of this second, just 28% of stocks are heading higher. You might feel lucky in your little birds nest because you happen to have one of those stocks. But you haven’t thought it through. You haven’t thought about your mother and her two stupid sisters who are getting their eyebrows kicked off today, as more than 310 stocks decline more than 3% for the session.
Every action has a reaction. Wait it out. Go bird watching and buy your wife a bouquet of flowers. Quit being such a bedraggled microbe.
Utilities and REITs are the biggest winners today. Don’t play yourself, homie. Go eat a sandwich.

didn’t you delcare Netsuite as this market’s canary in the coalmine earlier this year? Well, it’s off to the races right now.
I am long N and it is only up because CNQR was acquired.
I want to plunge a knife into the heart of someone in my office. Time for the weekend.
Hey J! Can I borrow your stapler one more time?
J, ummm, we actually put the new cover sheets on those TPS reports. It’s in the memo Livermore. You did read the memo, didn’t you?
It wouldn’t be Trent J, would it?

Bought it this morning after it opened despite being late to the party. Extremely glad I did. Holding. GDX had a major multi-month breakdown today. DUST is the place to be.
JDST not bad either

Yeah, I’m flat on the day thanks to JDST and my GOOGL yolo.
I have it (DUST). An incredible run so far. More to come I suspect as the dollar continues to rocket north. By largest % gain so far this year.

Bored with the market so this is kind of neat: Watches for Gentlemen: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gmoeJxEFCWQ
Do you have any of these Dr. Fly?
I got a Nomos, a Tag and a beautiful Omega about as thin as a dime, but my favourite is an old Bulova Accutron from the seventies. It hums away and gains only one second a day, amazing for a watch designed in the 60’s. The mechanical movement to transfer the vibration of the tuning fork to the watch hands is unbelievable, using a 2mm disk with 360 teeth cut into it, each .02mm deep. The sapphire pawls were so difficult to make that only one guy in the whole company had the skill to make them. A man who later unfortunately took his own life. There are still a lot of them around in good working condition and they are dirt cheap considering how great they are.
Well, I never much cared for my mother’s sisters anyway. And my mother is already broke.
