Two weeks ago I received a sales inquiry from an international dealer for ReneSolar. They wanted my company (located outside of the US) to carry their products. We took a look – products and pricing suck, warranties suck, technical support sucks….they sucked on every level. Also had to question why an off-shore manufacturer with 1000s of MW of solar panel capacity is hocking $11 light bulbs; cause they suck wuge wang.
A squiggly line analysis algorithm is entertaining but it is no substitute for actually understanding a company and its marketplace. In the last year SOL went from being a vertically integrated manufacturer with some potential to a garbage dump Estore trying to sell solar panels and LED lamps to retards. Their margins suck and will suck even more in the future. I hope you make coin – don’t buy the dip – get the fuck out on the first opportunity and make an educated investment in solar. There are some great companies in the biz, SOL is not one of them.
I think you got the right industry, wong company. Time will tell. You got SOL, I bought YDE and CSIQ. Will average down, buy dips, hang in because they are good companies in a great industry, yadda-yadda. Lets both make money.
