Look, the Fed wants air to come out of the small cap biotech and tech space. Some of these stocks have been hammered in recent weeks, absolutely destroyed–20-35% declines. These are weak stocks, in an awkward tape, that are susceptible to further selling. Do yourselves a favor and lighten up. I am not telling you to get bearish and to sell everything. I am telling you to lighten up–because if this lady gets her way, you’re gonna be shining my shoes by Christmas.

Gold is a barbaric relic. Other country stocks are sanctioned. Buy GM and be proud of their engineering marvels?
They want you to buy the large caps, which are historically overvalued but not in bubble territory.

It absolutely was. Only time I have ever gotten a cold call from a boiler room type broker. Just before the peak back around 2004 or 2005, then it literally crashed to near zero. In a related story, I am buying PALM tomorrow.

So I read about cold calls and chose to post as if it happened to me, when it didn’t? Hilariously I was indeed poor at the time. Bozo was asking for $10k as an investment. Claimed to be a broker in Perth Amboy, which is a low end town famous only for Bon Jovi song topics. And his pitch was that PEIX was backed by Bill Gates. I remember it like it was today. Though today I am happy to have a wife, kids, and the ability to laugh at the good old days.

Its absolutely not a penny stock. BUT, horrendous capital structure, 15-1 reverse and highly dilutive offerings stink for common shareholders in the long run. HOWEVER, it usually leads to runs in the short-run. I couldn’t care either way, I’m just glad to see the Fly cursing and chewing people out again. I hope this whole fucking thing crashes but it probably won’t for another few months. Too many people calling tops with interest rates too low. In the end this will end poorly, we’re just not quite there yet.

I know all the traders there as well as several execs, wife even used to do some bitch HR work for them. The stock has been a real winner and if I was a betting man it will continue to be in the long term. Full disclosure that no one cares about – I don’t own it.

Trading is not straightforward manual labor like plumbing or investment banking, where most anyone gets the hang of it eventually and makes money. Most of us will end up in the red and give up, which in this case is the only sane alternative. I am not sane and plan to soldier on until I am dead, broke or both.
