Although the market was higher today, I felt uncomfortable with the action, which is why I held my cash horde intact. If anything, the oil and gas space looks interesting here. But this is my conundrum.
With earnings season here, do I delve back into the degenerate high valuation space, in hopes of catching some quick wins? Or, should I invest in a wide array of diversified sectors, in search for the slow, yet incremental, returns? I am leaning towards the latter, since it’s entirely possible we are about to rotate again, a la April. With that being said, I’m still holding onto some vagrant securities, which aren’t too big on their own. However, with more than 30% of my assets in cash, they tower over everything else.
One way or another, I will resolve this issue shortly and try to get back to winning. June was a spectacular month for me. Thus far, July is flat. I need to step it up, in order to stay on track to make back all of my losses by December.
By the way, The PPT flagged it’s first OVERSOLD signal since May 15th. Chalk up another W for the good guys.

That CYNK I asked about was up 150% today from 6 to 15 – about a 4.3bn market cap now with 1 employee, 0 revenues and no business model – I must be missing something obvious, or everyone else is.
Million pardons for bringing it up, but there was a nice ZH piece on it with 10-K filings and all, no revenue but paid out 1.4 million in compensation to its executive last year.

Feb – April was the fake out. It was the past to remember. So that you could lose money. Funny how it was all sell in May and now it’s all July – August is the worst time EVER! This market has been fucking up all sorts of heads and shoulders and other bearish guarantees, why not now?
It WILL eventually. But not now, way too many people have sold lately, way too many bears are out of hibernation. Squeeze the shorts, let them come back in, squeeze ’em again; more capital to spend.
