Biotech stocks, as an index, were down more than 4% today. The market was up 125 this morning, reversed, and closed at the lows of the session.

I am staying the course, leveraged into what seems to be an apocalypse. There are devils all around me, whispering in my ear, trying to get me to lose money. Having EZPW as my largest position has its advantages, in that it’s as boring as a bag of nails.
My other positions are all under 10% in size, a stark contrast to Le Fly of old. Just to paint a vivid picture, in the past, my top holding has equaled more than 20, sometimes 30% of my holdings. In the case of YELP and WNR, it went as high as 40%. I am playing a subtle game, bleeding out slower than usual, still in the game, readying to play my position with precision.
For the day, I was almost exactly flat.

Agreed. I’m motivated to comment because right now I am disgusted with the Internet, and Google search results for subject matter in my line of work. So many idiot bloggers, “how to” pages and people “explaining ” how something is or was. Internet credibility (or lack of) is revealed when you read about something you know.
My main objection is to revisionist history, which admittedly is probably completely normal over the passage of time.
Yellen needs to learn what about.com and other Internet writers (or robot writers) do so well. Produce content that says nothing and satiates the ignorant masses.
That is- Internet and social media can provide anyone a platform. Curation is left to the consumer. With so many believing everything on the Internet is free for the taking, it is a challenge for curators and content creators to get paid.
No one under 25 would dream of paying for music. They will spend $$$ for club, concert and merchandising experiences, but nothing for the music itself.

Frustrating to say the least. iBankcoin and (mostly)OA helped take my portfolio to the very cusp of being granted entry into the REAL trader category. I have since been knocked back and denied.
I’m still trading a sizeable and respectable account balance, so I need to shake off the greed and get smarter. I’ve blown up an account before and it’s depressing. I can’t do it again.

Yes, indoor growing requires replicating sunlight with light and heat bulbs. Traditionally this has been detected by unusual electricity demand from houses that don’t “fit in” with the human use pattern of other houses in the area. Then the police follow up with infrared viewing of the house, and bingo, they are busted.
