Oil and gas stocks were just the marvel of the market; now they are the bane. With them, naturally, are solar stocks–straight down the toilet bowl. Playing The Devil’s advocate, I am going to assume the sector will bounce back, especially since the price oil still stalks the $100 level.
Let’s have a look at the carnage, shall we?

Indeud! I have a new position in HK, chart looks good and lots of insider buying over the past week or 2.
TLM, RIG
Solar city showed decent strength today.
I gotta go with HK solely off the back of my good buddy Harper.
The Outsiders…awesome movie. Takes me back.
Found a better pic I see…ok.
I removed it upon your discovery.
As you were.
MHR
HK, SD, RIG, NOV
WFT, in @15 ~month ago stopped out trailing 5% looking to re-enter.
I like FANG, ROSE and maybe GDP
KWK is my pick for 2014 if Natty picks up. Conversely, shorting the chemical industry with which oil and natty are the life sources may also be a play. It is all about the hydrocarbon.
FANG, HK, SD for me. Like the charts.
I have been in SD for a looooong while and getting tired of waiting. avg cost 6.35. I keep avg down and it keeps going down.
Yep SD
If you’re a long term reader of this blog, you should know that that company is run by transvestites.
What happened to the Devil, anyway? He was supposed to come back after Labor Day.
The Devil is busy in Syria. He will be back.
EMES – newish kid on the block.
It is the shovel sellers who made most money during the great gold rush.
EMS sells sand to the frackers.
slca is better
Oil drillers appear to be the next metal miners.
Ung go natural.
Pacd great co n great management. Look them up.
Also, perhaps you are just in the wrong dry bulk. Many bulkers have been running tremendously with the bdi, just not balt. So Wall Street isn’t really ignoring the trade.
Lying terrorist. Balt has outperformed most bulkers. I know the story and know its a winner. Bet against me.
au contraire mom ami…BALT mange tout!
say whaddya think of SDRL?
what do you think of AWLCF? EMES?
Philbert, somehow you made the wrong turn and ended up here. You meant to go to the Yahoo finance boards. Here at iBankCoin, we use this mysterious wizardry known as mathematics. Through purely supernatural means, mathematics show that BALT has a 12% 1 month return. It is the third highest return of any dry bulker with volume. And with that, I bid you adieu.
you realize adieu means you never expect to see or hear from him again..so are you leaving the planet or is he? say before you go, what do YOU think of SDRL? or AWLCF down again in Oslo…
SDRL has some strong price memory. I wouldn’t be surprised if it revisited 38 soon or 34 later. I won’t get too excited unless it’s through 42 on volume in the near future. I don’t do OTC, so no comment on AWLCF.
Tomorrow I’ll make it a point to watch for the Zecco “100 shares at market” buy orders for HK …
Oil drillers appear to be the new metal miners.
Still can’t understand why SPX went over 1755ish, that was the top. Can’t understand why it went 3% over that. Really shook me up, I will be happy when it is below that again.
WPX, D, ETE
Sorry for the double post; it was an accident. Please accept my deepest apologies.
How? How? The similarities escape. Wtf do the drillers have in common with mining names?
Strange new names appear when the Fly asks for opinions. Which is basically never. Gap is for real. HK will be looked at no doubt.
The yen is getting hammered again vs the greenback. Up we will go. Ho ho ho.
Coal should get interesting.
Agreed. Nat gas is trying for a new level while the china/emerging market turnaround story is attempting legs.
Whats ya’lls take on NUAN? Carl just upped his already nice size stake
Matt Bear, wanna meet up?
UNG a little late to join that party
Agreed. Natty needs to consolidate the recent move. If it can do that? Coal could catch a sympathy bid. If natty craters into the dirt then not so much.
HK and RIG
Long time lover of BAS
what does anyone think of RIG and MOS?
