I’m not worried about BALT. Keep buying every time it drops below $5. Yes cape and panamax are falling affecting the BDI, but those don’t affect BALT much. The supramax keeps rising and handysize has stayed consistently in the $8500s ($8546 as of yesterday). $26944*2 + $12841*4 + $8500 * 5 = $147752. They’re still raking in profit every day assuming they’ve kept their utilization up above 90%.

Here are the details, for those who are interested. It has to be approved by CONgress, which, of course, always serves the people, but only a certain kind of “people”– that is, mega-corporations. Corporations are people, according to the Citizens United ruling.
