I just wanted to state the obvious: apple sucks.
I cannot believe Samsung was able to come out with a watch before Apple. Also, when is the Bozo in Chief, Tim Cook, going to launch the teevee? Doesn’t he know people have been growing weary of the lack of innovation at Apple?
I own Apple, only because of the potential and cash balance balance. However, the leadership is pathetic and the excitement is gone. I’d much rather tether myself to Samsung, via parts makers and royalties plays, like IMMR.

If I jogged and if I had one of those on my wrist I would watch reruns of The Three Stooges. It would take my mind off the jogging and the fact that I was wearing something I saw in Dick Tracy comics 50 years ago.
I agree with you Steak, it’s ugly. But then again I’m a woman and wouldn’t replace my Fitbit Flex for something that bulky and manly looking.

Patience grasshopper! Remember Apple is never first, but always best! What did people say when they released the iPod? “What? Another MP3 Player?” What about the iPhone? They were widely ridiculed as late to the game. iPad? Remember all the “maxiPad” jokes? Whose laughing now?
When they release a device for the wrist it will work…seemlessly with everything else they build. And you won’t need to be a wizard to figure it out.

There is absolutely no need to wear a watch in this day and age. If I want to know the time, I just look at my platinum encrusted iPhone 7( I have connections, you ugly peasants).
Anytime I see someone wearing items such as Rolexs, Ferragamos, etc. I immediately know they are on dat poverty time, and want to appear to be as wealthy as yours truly.
Agreed about the need for watches today.
Whenever I see someone with a watch I think “fancy boy” and hold onto my wallet because they are about to try and sell me a useless big ticket item like a time share in Orlando.

$299 for Samsung’s watch is over priced, especially with silicone bands and only a silver finish. And what’s with everything needing a camera on it now? Already look dumb taking photos with an iPad.
As for Apple, they won’t be the first to market with “smart watches”, but Paul Deneve over at Apple is laughing at this design.
I’ll wait out for the Apple watch that will match my champagne iPhone 5S.
