I am very tempted to buy here. However, since I am on “vacation” and away from my data, I am just going to leave things the way they are until next week. I’d hate to start buying, then see the market down 5%. That would mess up my vibe.
Truth be told, it’s CHINESE LOTTO TIME again. Every single day another chinese stock hits the lottery for its shareholders. Today, that name is FFHL, up a modest 200%. WH is a sideshow, up a mere 35%.
I am compiling some names for purchase and will be ready to act soon. I might even nibble on some YELP before I head out.

Fly – Also notice the Argentine data. For some strange reason all of their stocks are running in the last 48 hours. Doing homework this weekend. Same as with China. Real estate, utilities and tech firms.
China closed down last night after China Govt talked about closing down more production..Steels, Ore, etc were the lead dog down. I don’t follow Argentina, but I will look into it. But, China is not giddy at all.

Argentina is now up to a 13.25% interest rate and Soybean, Oil to Brazil and China..ouch..we have slowdown in China and they get into big problems. Well with that spike up in the Interest Rate this year, they may already be in big trouble.

One note about FFHL. Its price rise is more justified and not result of a “frothy” market. They are auctioning off a piece of the company following the CEO’s arrest and bids are coming in around $5/share.

It’s bad – what’s happening with miner’s right now is only partly related to PM. NUGT is about to reverse split, so there is a ton of cover and also buy going on, thus driving the underlying derivatives and stocks crazy. If you’re a senior or junior miner – you do not control your stock price.
NUGT is not pushing the junior miners, but vice versa.

Willing to by more at lower prices, but also willing to cut it out for a quick 5-10% gain. Market is getting a little dangerous here.
I debated buying more Yelp with cash today, but elected to seed Biotechs. There’s cheap quality, and frankly, there may still be more downside in YELP. If the market hears 77 PT, and the market is soft, they’ll chase it to 38 just for binary 100% ROI

That said, I think $1350 was a big hurdle to clear, but I DEFINITELY think we’ll get a retest of that level.
