Ignoring the Melt Up

As long as yields are rising, the market cannot be trusted. If the 10 yr bond hits 3% there will an Exodus out of stocks into bonds.

I like TXTR, USG, WNR, APO, HOV and BZH. But, unfortunately, I am nothing more, or less, than a spectator for now.

if you are a shorter term mean reversion trader, probably. If you are longer duration, any rally is an opportunity to sell into and launch some shorts. Just my opinion

I see the light at the end of the tunnel Le Fly. After trading institutionally around the world for the wealthiest and most powerful firms, I may be able to retire. Hopefully yields will go even higher and the yield curve will resemble an erect penis on extenze.

I will be putting my billions into a sick annuity yielding 2000% a year. My returns will look like a cliche penny stock ad.

Exp ratio will be zero because I banged all the secretaries (including the company dog).

I also take full blame for the soon to be discovered ponzi scheme in China.

I just drank a quad latte from SBUX and cannot stop scrolling up and down incessantly on excel for absolutely no reason.

After leaving rehab in Southern California (I only go to the finest facilities you ugly serfs), I saw a burning bush in the distance.

I walked closer and it was the spirit of John D Rockefeller telling me that I am the greatest trader to ever live and I will generate an all time human record of profit this year. I ended coming down from the hill with two stone tablets. Each of which had 5 commandments that I must follow to trade within the next year. I’ve been shorting the markets ever since. Hence, the selloffs the past few days. I move markets you fu*king pussies. Media likes to cover it up and blame the bald headed homo.

I will let you know what the tablets said for 24.99 a month for 24 months.

cramer made a point about google , in that it has no exposure to china… but with the snowden revelations, it may impact the rest of the world of google. many countries are choosing other alternatives. im not implying that it will be any big impact for them. but just the same. the UN is now considering thhttp://search.yahoo.com/r/_ylt=A0oG7lDazMlR4iMAVd5XNyoA;_ylu=X3oDMTE0dXNlZmtqBHNlYwNzcgRwb3MDMQRjb2xvA2FjMgR2dGlkA1NNRTIzMl83OA–/SIG=145fkt3bn/EXP=1372208474/**http%3a//www.thenewamerican.com/tech/computers/item/13656-un-to-seek-internet-kill-switch-next-month-documents-showe following:

Fly, thanks for drawing focus to $TLT and company again. Helped me block out the rally (and noise) and get positioned for a profitable day.

    Good day,

“As long as yields are rising, the market cannot be trusted. If the 10 yr bond hits 3% there will an exodus out of stocks into bonds.”

Fly, read your comments about TLT last week (investing after summer etc), and I see that you’re thinking bonds may end up with a renaissance of sorts. In any correction there’s usually a bounce, but dead cats aside, right now the Long Bond is yielding about the same as it was August 2011 – is this significant? Can’t see that it is particularly significant. 3.5% should have mattered, but the market broke through that fairly easily last week, back in 2011 we saw a pause around 4.5%, or so. If the Treasury yields head up to May 2011 levels then we won’t see anything more than bounces for the next few months, and equity markets likely won’t care – nor find another 1% compelling, after all, no one trusts the Fed to maintain low rates, and markets are starting to price in higher yields.
