What are your goals– as it pertains to this business? Get rich quick?
Not for me.
I want to be like Carl “I’ll take three seats on your board, and you’re fired” Icahn. Some are put off by his abrasive demeanor; but that’s a breath of fresh air for me, a kid from brooklyn growing up playing inside of sewers.
He started from nothing and is now worth $18 billion. He creates real value for shareholders in the companies he bullies around. The CEOs and CFOs should fear Carl’s wrath, not us shareholders, investors who are looking to bank a little coin. He will twist their heads off, have their jobs, and sell their companies to the highest bidder. Short sellers, like Bill Ackman, should fear Carl too, as he’s very old, very rich and especially belligerent.
Some people like to call him an idiot because he has a New York accent. The man graduated from Princeton, a philosopher no less. Should we deride a great man, such as Carl, because of his major during college?
I believe his philosophy is to break the backs of those who bet against him, is it not? There’s nothing shameful about that.
iBankCoin is a proud supporter of The House of Icahn, the Frank Sinatra, Chairman of the Board, of this finance racket
We sincerely hope Carl becomes a vampire and lives for another thousand years, menacing those who get in his way of financial dominance.
Heck, the guy even does a mean stand up comedy routine.
NOTE: I was +1.25% today–thanks to GTAT and FRO.

I’d hire a philosophy and/or psychology major over finance and/or econ 9/10 times. For any job.
As would I. He was taught how to think, not scheme. The results speak for themselves.
Wow, classic videos there.
Thanks for that share, Fly.
very funny..
The ubiquitous reverence people exhibit for Princeton graduates and, even dropouts is annoying, like a fart in church. Has anyone ever met a Princeton grad who did not believe absolutely in the world’s obligation to afford him a grand life despite the fact he might have no common sense or purpose.
That is absolutely NOT the attitude of the typical Princeton grad (and I know many of them). Clearly, you are referencing HARVARD graduates!
Correct.
Princeton is not like Harvard and Yale, whom are laden with political connections.
Princeton is merit based. The best minds this country has to offer goes to Princeton.
FYI: Ben Bernanke was a Professor as Princeton.
Your point being what? At least at Princeton I learned the basics of syntax.
Well, while “the best minds” may ATTEND Princeton, clearly the best minds are not HIRED by Princeton, as clearly evidenced by its no-common-sense economics department.
P.S. Bernanke did his undergraduate work at Harvard.
Last I checked Bernanke saved the world from depression and collapse. You will not find Ben haters here, boy.
No, that was when you FIRST checked (back in 2009). Subsequent to that (i.e., when you “last” checked) Ben printed trillions of additional dollars, thereby enabling the U.S. government to continue spending like a drunken sailor kindling a future massive inflation problem and debt crisis as American wages continue to decline in real terms due to the international fungibility of labor, thereby penalizing the working classes that Ben purports to be helping.
In other words, unwilling to take any necessary pain now, Ben’s actions will severely compound the pain later as he and his cohorts continue to run the Federal Reserve as if they’re a bunch of politicians up for reelection next Tuesday rather than an independent body that is charged with looking out for the long-term future of the American economy and its currency.
I prefer the path Ben took.
Fly,
Seeing as you have kids (and maybe one day grandkids) I don’t understand why.
Thanks for cleaning up the language on your site. Whoever consulted on that one was on the right track.
It was my choice
Dignified and shit
lol
Suffice to say, the bitcoin subreddit is having a very serious debate about whether or not they should link to a suicide hotline.
That place is comedy gold right now!
I’m done.
This site is funny, yet profitable. With all due respect, send half of your tax payments, to the BEN! He earned it.
Carl is certainly no buy and hold guy. He uses his stack to makes shit happen and gets results. Hail to the king.
Boss of all bosses.
Seems like Carl Icahn would be funnier than that, given his work behind the camera in such greats as “Blazing Saddles”.
Saying he grew up in BK sounds cool, but wikipedia says he grew up in Far Rock.
He is from Queens. I am from BK.
I heard that Michael Dell has gone through a whole case of astroglide lubricant, since the Icahn swooped down upon his little company.
Perhaps big Mikey, could have stashed away a few extra billion, back during the dot-com boom,?
I remember when he was driving around Manhattan in armored limos, giving advice to the likes of Sergey and Brin.
Icahn does what he does SO well, his life has been extended, for as long as he can keep making corporate boards swallow poison pills.
Does this mean you will be re-entering HLF at some point?
Wouldn’t it be sumthin if Carl and Mitt got married? They’d make a great couple!
Shout out to Icahn he do damage to lames.
Bitcoin is not real until there is an Ebt Card that says so. Where the fuck is the fair share bitcoin? Everyone knows it is not fair that you can have something that the king does not dole out. This cruelty must not stand. Now. Where is the office of free bitcoins?
Sam Walton could’ve bought any of these turds 5 times over.
If godzilla sputters will that be the sell signal? Going full sushi must be somewhat kamakazee figuring in the fuku-shima. Double yen for every top ramen extra spice packet.
Amish get back down n obamas dick boy
Rhino crapped out. He is all dog shit. Like you fly
Hey fake Amish. Stop jerkin off in yo mamas basement and get a life
Fuck you fly. At the end of the day you are stinking flotsam
And quite possibly jetsam no Rolling Stones shitheads all
What a loser you are.
Kill yourself several times.
funny stuff.
Carl is a true capitalist. When pricing gets out of whack, people like him are catalysts for market pricing
What an epic post…this is why I don’t miss a day perusing Le Fly…this was golden. Touche good sir.
I really feel a few other webpage enthusiasts may want to take into account this particular web page as an example. Notably clean and simple to use structure, combined with very good information! You are a pro within this issue 🙂
