And he smokes it ever so effortlessly.
The market attempted to crater today, but was halted (no nazi) and asked to kindly stop and about face. Although most stocks traded down, it hardly had the effect that the lardass bears wanted, which is a full fledged collapsed.
Dare I say, amidst easing from all central banks, it’s nearly impossible.
Nothing lasts forever, however, not even hard to understand patent troll plays (extra VHC).
For now, I am waiting, researching the shipping sector, hoping most collapse and begin scrapping their tonnage.
HDGE is my largest holding, paired with AG. I can add to both on days when I am feeling powerful. Today, I feel sort of milquetoast. Its been a long week and my beard is long. I am content to exit the week with my 21% YTD gains intact and a barrel filled with gunpowder, ready to start a war, literally (OSC) and figuratively.

For what it’s worth a family member owns a container business specialising in shipping alcohol around the world. He says his business has been picking up.
I bet to Greece and Cypress, sales are exploding.
Don’t want to exacerbate you but to be consistent, shouldn’t that be “Grease and Cypress”?
Lol
My bad
Bought TBT today. Someday rates will rise.
My pool contractors are refusing payment in bitcoins. WTF?
Lol! I believe that 95% of the population will think that bitcoin is something you put in the coin operated washers in the laundromat or for opening the parking gate.

Fredriksen Bets $2.6 Billion New Ships Will Beat Glut: Freight
There are so many angles to apply here.
1) JF is buying yard space. Not ships. No doubt he will take delivery on the vessels. But he’s also preventing others from buying ships. So JF has some leverage over delivery schedules now.
2) Newbuild prices are at a 10 year low. A VLCC newbuild at $95M is only about 6x scrap value. An absolutely amazing economy.
3) The fuel economy alone for these ships likely makes them profitable in today’s markets.
4) The bigger the JF fleet, the more of a monopoly can be leveraged. This will likely result in accelerated scrapping.
5) JF will probably start building his charter-in of young tonnage next year. Imagine, FRNT has an owned fleet of 100 vessels and a 5 year chartered fleet of another 100 vessels. 20% of the global dirty tanker supply.
He will likely buyout fro and consolidate the two companies.
It’s a good lotto ticket
