Yet Another Monumental Political Failure For America

When will you learn the whole democrat versus republican debate is just a ploy to distract you from the true culprits?

I’m not going to curse or yell. Instead, I am simply going to lay out a scenario that is likely to grip America.

Because our politicians are drug addles sex fiends, more interested in being paid off than serving the American people, we are heading into a self-inflicted recession.

Let me repeat that point and elaborate on what that means.

Due to the incompetent people who you elected to take care of very important things, economic growth will fall by 2-5% in 2013, which in turn will mean an acceleration of the unemployment rate–upping the amount of foreclosures and plunging the economy into another crisis. Stocks will plummet by at least 20%, paving the way for a bonafide bear market.

Grover Norquist is not the King and Obama is not our dictator. It is a crime that we are still talking about this, just days before the end of the year.

Providing they come to terms on a deal, US corporations, who are rich with cash, will begin to invest again, helping people keep their fucking homes.

Don’t invest your money in anything. Keep it in cash because: 1. The fix is in. 2. Our elected officials are drug addled sex fiends.

If this isn’t tyranny, I don’t know what is.

The funny thing is, I was 100% confident we’d go over the cliff. You know I’ve been saying it. And all I have to show is a measly 35% cash position with zero shorts.

The stock market has had enough of this fiscal cliff shit.

I expect a revolt in the form of a massive selloff if these assholes in DC can’t make a deal.

The whole thing is so goddamn ridiculous. I am sickened at how inept our government has become.

US dollar will be lifted by new taxes in 2013. Stock market and precious metals will go down, accordingly.

I too believe this whole thing is bogus.
And in keeping with this bogus line of thinking the chances are good that there will be something done before the market opens on Mon.

I was holding off to go long on anything new until after this Cliff-mess was sorted out. But if those jack-asses in DC keep dragging this out for weeks, I will be waiting for a while.

This is all starting to remind me of the same antics from DC back in the summer of 2011. Shortly after that the market tanked.

Are there any significant differences in the markets and economic outlook between Summer 2011 and now?

    IN SUMMARY:

Taxes substantially go up in 2013.

US dollar is strengthened due to new taxes collected.

Stock market goes down due to US dollar going up.

Precious metals go down since US dollar going up. This will also counteract the effects of the Basel III delayed ruling directing central banks to purchase gold.

Very wise man points out, “Out of the 155 profitable companies that pay yields more than 12%, only 22 of them are located in the United States. That means more than 86% of the world’s high yield opportunities are located overseas.”

Congress folks are extremely competent. Efficient as a fine Swiss watch. Their job, as they see it, is to get re-elected. So they cater to the lobbyists of the corporations & other Special Interest Groups that financed their campaigns.

Oh, you thought their job was to serve the American people? Where did you get that idea? If that was their job, then why are they punished, rather than rewarded, when they do that?

Simple fact of psychology. If you reward someone for doing something, e.g. with campaign financing, then they will do it more & more.

Dems can’t get re-elected if they cut spending. Repubs can’t get re-elected if they raise taxes. Of course there is no fiscal cliff deal. How could there be?

Yes, Franken & Feinstein are the best. People like Uglyflint can not fault them on their policies, which are in tune with the best interests of the American people. So people fault them on their looks, which are totally irrelevant to the situation.

Every time a Right Winger personally attacks Dems, I become more confident that we are correct. Because when peole have no factual or logical leg to stand on, the stoop to personal attacks.

Haha, I just read that Joe Q. Public is satisfied with the way Obama is handling the Fiscal Cliff issue so far, per a recent Gallup poll:

“For what it’s worth, Obama is winning the fiscal cliff battle in public opinion polls. A Gallup poll released this week finds that 54 percent of Americans approve of his handling of the fiscal cliff negotiations, compared with 26 percent who back the Republican leaders. While most Americans had been confident that Congress would resolve the fiscal cliff by Jan. 1, that confidence level dropped this week to just 50 percent.”

    From this article: http://www.csmonitor.com/USA/Politics/2012/1228/Fiscal-cliff-meeting-at-White-House-Will-it-be-Lincoln-moment-for-Obama?nav=87-frontpage-entryNineItem

That means 54% of the public have no idea of the full economic impact of no resolution means.

It’s unfortunate, but I hope everyone is going to enjoy their trip over the cliff. I have packed both of my parachutes tight, made from 75% pure cash.

It’s really a win-win situation for 0bama. He want’s higher taxes across the board – more money, more power. He proposes a rich tax, knowing that the repubs won’t go for it, and ends up looking like he’s fighting for the little guys.

We go off the cliff, he gets his tax revenue and keeps his “street cred”. What if we dip into a recession? No problem! Obama will be there to “help” all of those without jobs, further securing himself as the good guy in the peoples eyes.
