Relax, It’s Only Money
As you watch your net worth diminish with the stock quotes, always remember that somehow, someway, “The Fly” is winning. Trust me when I tell you, it will make me feel a lot better.
It’s October and you’re surprised that stocks are behaving odd, aren’t you? You’re just gonna have to endure the volatility until The Turkey Gods comes and spray gravy all over the faces of the bears, and mudstomp their faces into dust.
Stocks are selling off hard into the bell and my 1% intra-day gain has transformed (extra decepticon) into a 0.1% deficit. Oh, the horror, it’s almost too much to bear if it wasn’t for all this drama.
I said it yesterday and I’ll say it again: stocks will be higher in exactly 4 days from now. That being said, we might meander, or go down some more, prior to the big finale. But rest assured, as certain as the day is long and Senor Tropicana rules the roost, stocks will rise again (no confederacy).

I agree with the turkey thesis, and that should give us a boost but it’s different this year, Fly. This market is completely unnatural, buoyed by the funny money of Fed policy – and it is no doubt tied to elections. The elections in 2 weeks are everything in this market. They are the most contentious and critical I’ve seen in my 50+ years of life as an American.
I am surprised that no one has commented on Trump’s announcement, which like all things related to Obama’s past seem to be hidden. Normally I don’t like Trump, and I know many will laugh at me for saying this, but I have to admit this was brilliant. It’s about time Americans ask the ‘non-politically correct’ questions. No one is responsible for the actions of the rest of their siblings or predecessors. However, the upbringing of every person has a very large influence on their worldview and as we can all plainly see (except you) Obama’s worldview is totally FUBAR. In fact, I don’t know if the man has an organized worldview other than to just do whatever is expedient at a given moment or circumstance. He seems to be anchored to nothing. Of course that’s pretty typical for those with a “liberal” mindset. 
He seems so detached and self absorbed. His lack of any coherent response other than lying about the events of Sept 11 this year are a good indicator of why this guy should NOT be the person picking up the “red” phone in the White House.
