Gentlemen, Prepare for Battle
I swapped out of APKT for even more VHC, making it my largest position, not because I know the judge and the lawyers and the contents inside of their brief cases, but because I do not intend to sit through a fucking APKT earnings call and because my urinal shadows have declared VHC to be “highly fucking attractive at these levels.”
Think of VHC as a large boat, captained by “The Devil” himself, and all of you are pirates. On the horizon there is a small flotilla, filled with bears eating cheese filled tortillas, playing the guitar, drunk from their own stupidity. Your vessel is magnanimous, painted black, adorned with 15 gunpowder filled cannons and a pirate flag to match.
As you approach the little flotilla, filled with tortilla eating bears, the captain of your pirate ship yells out “get ready to board, gentlemen; take what you want.”
That’s exactly how I feel about VHC right now, readying to board the flotilla strewn with cheese filled tortillas.

I bought VHC (now TC and VHC), because it is obvious AAPL infringed on this patent 8,051,181 from my engineering opinion combined with the number of other companies that have already licensed it for same thing:
A technique is disclosed for establishing a secure communication link between a first computer and a second computer over a computer network. Initially, a secure communication mode of communication is enabled at a first computer without a user entering any cryptographic information for establishing the secure communication mode of communication. Then, a secure communication link is established between the first computer and a second computer over a computer network based on the enabled secure communication mode of communication. The secure communication link is a virtual private network communication link over the computer network in which one or more data values that vary according to a pseudo -random sequence are inserted into each data packet.

What does “data values that vary according to pseudo-random sequence” and “data packet[s]” mean?
And, is it possible for an outside source, or outsiders, to insert data into a data packet?

The abstract is a little misleading as it is not detailed enough of the method. TARP Routers are used (Tunneled Agile Routing Protocol) and it relies on a series of TARP routers for transmitting the data. Each router removes a layer of encryption, but that is all it can do. The actual destination and payload “real data” is not known. In addition, it employs layers of decoy data, etc. Even the route can be random. This is then combined with Secure DNS. There is a lot more to it, but you get the picture maybe.

If I am understanding TradingProdigy’s post correctly, it seems to imply that there is no such thing as a “secure network”, due to the engineering specifics of the net. I can’t be sure what this means for VHC or TC or AAPL, but T.P., let me know if my reasoning, based on the information you put out, is close.

If that is the patent, its incredibly vague… Secure is hard to describe… Every encryption, given enough time, is able to be cracked. If i can ensure all my secrets cannot be cracked by the time i die then it is _secure_. Cryptography works, but the stuff we use daily on the web is watered down – i have no doubt the gov has computers capable of cracking standard encryption in a timely fashion
