Embrace the Fraud

I’m ignoring today’s action in favor of several dozen sandwiches. I’d like to relay that message to all of you.

As you sit there panicked, almost haunted, by the stock exchange, “The Fly” will be devouring sandwiches whole, without any bites. Sure, there are lots of cross-currents in the short term. Take OSG as an example. Two weeks ago I was “on the boat”. Now I’m not and it’s sinking. Coincidence?

I think not.

We all have enemies, some obvious, other opaque. I dare say we share a common enemy: uncertainty.

Uncertain about our life-spans, longevity of relationships (business and personal), the way we deport ourselves and how said deportment is perceived by others, etc. In my estimation, all forms of uncertainty are legitimate reasons to lament, worrying about the prospects of our respective futures. Howsoever, when it comes to stocks, on a broader outlook, I think it’s fair to say they will go higher, no matter what, over the longer term. It’s all we have to look forward to, as a nation and once great society. It’s the great facade, a picture painted perfect on a rotting interior.

Your top Mittens stock idea from a couple months ago is putting in good work today. I would be surprised if it stays under 4 bucks much longer.

Tell your wife to seek the advice of a professional, who gets paid to offer said advice.

Fly,

You and i both know she is better off taking random advice from some malcontent from the internets rather than paying for a financial advisor.

Now crack the whip on them boys over at Molycorp granny needs her retirement monies.

Every once in a while I buy blind based on an oversized nutsack and undersized brain. I did so gobbling up OSG a few days before she hit the berg. I also failed to sell as you ran for the hills, pissed at the dollar drop your followers caused the stock. Now as a good captain does, Schettino excluded, I am tightening up my tie and going down with this piece of garbage. I hate you right now fly, but I know I’ll be back for more.

the market of stocks go up for one reason and one reason alone: inflation

error, circular reference. Inflation is defined as “price going up”. So saying “prices are inflating” means they go up. Saying prices go up because of inflation is saying “prices go up because they go up”…

Inflation is most certainly not defined as “prices go up”. Rising prices are typically a result of inflation but your definition is of the People magazine variety. Upgrade to at least US News and World Report before posting in here again.

Uncertainty keeps life interesting. Otherwise life would be like watching a movie you’ve already seen and already know what is going to happen. If the markets were certain you could never win, you would only ever tie at best.
