I took a position in ANR because I expect it to go higher. There is no such thing as clean burning coal. Extracting energy from coal is a filthy process and the sooner it is replaced completely by natural gas the better. This won’t happen for another fifty years, however.
Ummmm……The natural gas being sucked from the earth as purportedly clean fuel is brought to you via fracking. A process that injects poisonous fluids into the earth with currently unknown long term consequences.
Clean natural gas? Maybe. Maybe not.
Cleaner and less damaging than coal which is now widely understood in all phases of the energy production process? Maybe. Maybe not.
Just want to point out this – if the the only NASDAQ stock up over 1% on the day is FSLR, thats a bad fucking sign.
