Some analyst, obviously an Obama supporter, had the audacity to downgrade ACI this morning, even though Romney is up 4 in the polls and iron ore demand is on the rise. Clearly this beast of a man is working against your better interests. He’s trying to “vampire squid” the money from your portfolios so that his employer can finance greek junk bonds or malicious short sales against their own clients!
To downgrade coal here, ahead of the elections, is terrifically retarded.
I’d like you to get me this man’s name and bring it to me, so that I can award him an Asshat of the Week Award.
“The Fly” is generous in all things, liberal with money and opinion. However, when it comes to kindness towards men who are working against my interests, I am a miser of historical proportions. I will levy and tax, then levy again, until you’ve been washed out.
Coal, especially ANR, will be bought ahead of the elections, because its destiny is etched in higher equity valuations.

I saw a black guy once at a synagogue. No wait, I didn’t.
Some years ago I saw a caucasian at a NY Knicks game.
That was David Lee, bro.
Here’s your chance to pick up some NFLX. They added season 8 of Dirty Jobs, this in itself will drive it back up to $100.
GS (aka the vampire squid)switches sides to support Romney. I wonder if GS is buying coal stocks now?
They are likely doing the opposite of what they say they are doing.

OSG, IDTI and KIRK can’t get any traction.
I took a position in ANR because I expect it to go higher. There is no such thing as clean burning coal. Extracting energy from coal is a filthy process and the sooner it is replaced completely by natural gas the better. This won’t happen for another fifty years, however.
Ummmm……The natural gas being sucked from the earth as purportedly clean fuel is brought to you via fracking. A process that injects poisonous fluids into the earth with currently unknown long term consequences.
Clean natural gas? Maybe. Maybe not.
Cleaner and less damaging than coal which is now widely understood in all phases of the energy production process? Maybe. Maybe not.
Just want to point out this – if the the only NASDAQ stock up over 1% on the day is FSLR, thats a bad fucking sign.
2737 is weekly s2 for NASDAQ.
that didnt take long
@Fly, This shit is why I stopped coming to iBankCoin…
“I saw a black guy once at a synagogue. No wait, I didn’t.”
I have to agree Yogi. That shit is not funny.
True. But don’t hold comments made by those of more….shall we say…….juvenile intelligence…. against Fly. He did not make the slur but rather the guest who visits this house.
Get some cheese to go with that, Boy-o.
Get some thicker skin, man. To LET someone offend you like that is pathetic.
Is this normal for speculative plays to run up prior to elections? I haven’t been around long enough to know.
Or, is the move in coal stocks saying it’s more likely Romney gets elected?
biggie killed pac
Bulk commodities aren’t leaving this toilet for Romney or any non Chinese politician
The Chinese steel industry is not profitable and in glut – no good for ion ore. This post ‘Golden Shower’ week bounce in price won’t last
Not sure whether thermal coal is going to push through $100 anytime soon either with all that cheap gas around and no rail surplus capacity for export market access.
