On the one hand, it feels like Ben must pomo, because the world will now self destruct if he doesn’t, and that would directly conflict with all he’s trying to accomplish. Plus, it does seem as if its already leaked.
On the other hand, the market is barely off its highs and positive for the year. Crude is actually giving consumers some relief. If he does anything crazy with regard to QE, he and Obamas will take a political beating. A relentless political beating.
My guess….they extend twist. And thats it. And the market sells off a bit. But not too much because, already, there is hope on the horizon that Europe will monetize. Which they will. But, no matter, its only the hope thats important.
