i was so amazed today. i wasnt feeling well,so i went to the doctors. i didnt know he was psychic. he told me i contracted shingles. (how did he know i sold a roof 2 days earlier,i sold a roof)..bot small tna at the close.
I can’t be sure, but if you really have shingles, I feel for ya. Meanest fucking disease around.
I got it about three years back, right when I was juggling three “pinless hand grenade” deals at once, while the market was in full melt down. “Stress, lack of sleep,” my doctor said, and gave me some pain medicine.
Needed it. Felt like a small noxious elf was stabbing me in the ribs with an icepick dipped in iodine every couple of minutes. Try driving with that going on.

I am now down 4% on my recent headlong cliff dive into GDX. Makes me want to kill somebody. I am trapped too because the fund has a 1% redemption fee.
The divergence between gold and GDX is striking…amazing the price delta now versus early 2010.

Alex, The USD has struggled while the stock market has declined. Do not think currencies will impede Gold. Things are setting up for Gold. A slightly lower low should do it.SPX and GLD may bottom together.

Minor C is underway now. As soon as the OEW 1363 pivot range, (1356-1370), fails, the steep part of this declining wave should be underway.
We continue to look for a correction low between SPX 1300 and 1340, and ideally between 1313 and 1327.
Short term support is at the 1363 pivot and SPX 1340, with resistance at the 1372 and 1386 pivots. Short term momentum is nearly back to neutral after getting extremely oversold.

Mortongould- I think I see your point. But… unknown talent must work for free, to find an audience and one day get paid. A bankrolled or wealthy person may blog for ego or other reasons (or anyone else, for that matter). I think people get what they are looking for blogging, posting, etc. or they go away.
You work for free, get recognized, then rise to the top and get paid. That’s how it goes. Fly and his staff are a perfect example of this. Morton, I’m guessing you’re not a big fan of natural selection? Even losers get a trophy in your perfect world, right?
Normally I’d tell you to fuck off and ban you. But what you said is the furthest thing from the truth. I recruit from the blogger network. All of the staff bloggers on ibc, except Scott, came from the old peanut gallery , which is now blogger network, or from guest blogging on my old site.
