I report to you for the first time today, here on iBC, I stepped in using leverage to buy the dip. For the first time since 2009, I exercised margin agreements to add to positions. This is what life is all about, after all–throwing good money after bad.
The Gods winked at me today, bidding YELP higher, alleviating the pressure exerted to my neck. At any rate, “The Fly” is not only speeding in a car made from dynamite sticks, heading towards the Sun; but that shit is on fire too.
Here is my allocation, on the table. Critique it all you want. It is what it is and it’s a big fucking bet.
YELP 30%
TDC 20%
BID 10%
JWN 10%
GLW 12%
CPST 10%
MAS 10%
CLR 5%
———
7% levered into the teeth of a mean correction.

Right there with you, man.
How come?
You like the gold/silver miners here?
Yes,
Indubitably!
________
Alcoa big surprise. Maybe things are not so much in the dumper. Good time to employ margin, imo.
way to go man!
u miss CENX
FIG FIG Fuckin FIG and fuck the little fucktards that ran under the the bed goddamit man but this is how it is done! Right on FLY! Huge gains await ride the tiger!
DO Not Sell nothing!
Hope you get a good nights rest.
Balls out with BAC calls into the close.
Wasn’t this the famous 5% correction everyone has been talking about?
Fly- is it time to buy CREE? They look to benefit huge from the push away from traditional lighting toward LEDs. What say you?
I like it, but one of my sources is worried about pricing in China.
Fly rules when he goes slightly manic (in a cerebral, calculated way – of course).
I added EEP to the LT Acct for the divy after a 10% pullback … downside looks minimal with good support here @ $30
First time I’ve been on margin in years … even though I can see another 20 pts down on the SPX after a B wave correction up.
Fly is “going SAM”
and “HAM!”
______
Fly – I love everything new mgmt is doing at Capstone but do you think they can stay solvent long enough to turn a profit? Mgmt is doing a fantastic job of lowering expenses (all % of revs): COGS from 123.92% in ’07 to 96.62% (ttm), OpEx from 117.1% in ’07 to 28.17% (ttm). Also doing a great job in efficiencies: Days Inventory 237.04 in ’07 to 74.95 (ttm), Inventory turns from 1.54 in ’07 to 4.87 (ttm), fixed asset turns from 2.99 in ’07 to 17.51 (ttm); however, Operating Income is stil (32.86%) of revs. Even though that’s a massive improvement from (185.63%) in ’07 still look to a be another couple years from being profitable. Not sure how much more they can successfully dilute, or are you anticipating they get bought out? Thanks for any insight
I believe they can, but it’s dependent on economy of course.
OEW Daily Recap:
“The recent market high at SPX 1422 did terminate with a diagonal triangle fifth Intermediate wave. The correction should bottom between SPX 1300 and 1340, with 1313-1327 the likely target range, during the next few weeks. We’re not expecting anything complex. Just a simple correction for Major wave 4 to alternate with the somewhat complex correction of Major wave 2.”
“The decline thus far appears to be a zigzag. Starting from the SPX 1422 high: 1405-1413-1393-1402-1378-1387-1357. Notice the rallies have been limited to 8-9 points, and the declines have been increasing: 17-20-24-30, without any overlaps. Short term support is now at SPX 1354, 1340, then 1333. Overhead resistance is at the 1363, 1372 and 1386 pivots. Short term momentum is extremely oversold and this market is due for a bounce soon.”
Looking for a simple A-B-C correction and we are close to completing the “A” portion of the move down, waiting on the B Wave up any time now. Then the correction is completed with the C Wave back down to around 1320 for a total correction of 100 pts or 7%.
(Cont’d) I should highlight what concerns me is that they still burned through $31M in cash for operating activities in TTM and only have $31M in working capital in the latest quarter. They only have $2.1M left on credit line and as of 12/31/11 were already not in compliance and had to amend.
I can only tell you let’s see what they did this QT. No use crunching numbers now. Stock is discounting bankruptcy.
That was my position, would like to go long now, but going to wait for this Q’s results. Possible I miss a big move if they do well but I think the upside potential is 3-400% if they turn it around.
@capstone – FWIW, I’m stalking an opening position. I’m not swing for the fences, just about a 1/2 sized position. I had a nice win in $GMXR. It seems they had similar fears of going BK, etc. My avg cost was just over 1.17 and I sold out around 1.82 48 days later. I typically allocate a certain amount for these type of trades. Sometimes they work. Sometimes they require a lot of patience.
fucking rock and roll, eh
Pray your gods that the AA (Alcoa) beat after the bell, puts the brakes on this never-ending, horrific, market action.
Tomorrow could be the day of reckoning for those who rest on the laurels of their hard-earned wealth.
The problem lies at the core of our government, with their “double-down-on-all- bets” philosphy. I get the feeling, never having had their own businesses, these Washington yahoos are absolutely clueless on how to correct this mess.
Maybe if we brought our kids home from all these false flag wars, and eliminate the bloat-o DHS, which was also based on a false flag foundation of 911, it’s really all been designed to control YOU, my friends.
Seriously, they are going to deploy 30,000 drones over the US to spy on YOU in the next 2 years. The law states they only have to stay 400 feet above any private property. That means they will be able to count the hairs on your dog.
If you “want your country back”, then write your state rep’s and tell them we can’t affford it, and we don’t need it. Let them know we are on to their little police-state scheme.
Dis-own the dollar, unless you want to become the Rain Man throwing your useless benjamins up in the air at the vacant strip club.
Besides that, AAPL was a good short today!
thats how you show your sons to hunt.using a wrist rocket of course. a 1/4 inch shot can travel over 200 feet per second,so 400 feet should be real easy for kids to hone their skills, no. better than playing with a radio controlled copter. (i’m sorry officer, the kid was playing with that godamn slingshot again).:)
Indeud.
“Seriously, they are going to deploy 30,000 drones over the US to spy on YOU in the next 2 years.”
Seriously, where is that info taken from. If treu, what the hell happened to our Constitutional right of illegal search and privacy? We need to bitch about this.
I am going to make it my mission to take down the TSA, one airport at a time.
If you go through those x-ray machines, you are a pussy, and deserve enslavement. Rise up, and bottle up that shit!
_________
Heaterman-
I only post this info, because it will eventually have a massive effect on all markets, worldwide. (The critical mass has nearly been reached)
Now for the drones doing iris scans of you at might:
HR 658 “FAA Modernization and Reform Act of 2012”
This bill allows for up to 30,000 unmanned aircraft to be used over National airspace. Many of these will be DHS drones (and all the other alphabet agencies; CIA, FBI, NSA, ATF. etc.)
The mainstream news media (which includes Google) will not report these things, just like they stopped reporting most 9/11 videos on 9/12, and those were only recently released by a Federal court order. Many of these were old FOIA requests.
Many evidenciary videos are still being held back(such as pentagon closed circuit tapes-of which there were dozens) for “national security reasons”
They don’t want America to find out a 757 didn’t hit the pentagon, but a jet engine found there was a Pratt & Whitney JT8D, with a 4.1 foot fan diameter (tip to tip).
The 757 has two Pratt & Whitney PW 2000 turbofans, which are freaking HUGE:
http://www.pw.utc.com/products/commercial/pw2000.asp
And the diameter of which is 6.56 feet, w/o the cowling.
A Boeing 757 has many, large, titanium parts. I mean, super large parts, such as landing gear, and main spar connections at the fueselage, but they want you to believe that the entire 757 “vaporized” in the kerosine fire (impossible)
Also, the 757 has a huge number of parts, with serial number stamped on them (so, in the event of a crash, the FAA can trace down the cause).
Of course, the government said that no identifiable 757 parts were found at the scene, except for that JT8D, a 727 engine.
There was also the little problem of no wing impact marks from the 244,000 pound 757, and it’s 124 foot wide wings, (with the two 7200 pound, 6.5 foot wide jet engines-much of which parts are made from a titanium mixture-to handle 5000 degree jet compressor heat.
None of those compnenets left a scratch, anywhere on the building (remember-the official story-they vaporized…again)
Only a small diameter hole punched through the building. The 757 has a 44.6 foot high tail, once agian, it vaporized and left no marks on building.
They also never found one piece of clothing, seats, human body parts, or blood.
And that lawn at the pentagon, I want one of those! It’s a super-lawn, unaffected by a huge airliner, skimming the surface of the grass blades at 250 miles per hour, and it didn’t even show a scuff mark!
Up until then, I had never heard of a vaporizing wide-body airplane, with no parts found, and no body parts found! That sure was a super-duper disentigrating special plane!
Brother, you have been spoon fed a pack of lies. Time to get the straight dope. Check my YouTube page (Watch the “CIA Insider tells truth..” video, on the “Videos” page.

Check out the detail on the pentagon at: http://www.rense.com/general63/ident.htm
God Bless.
this never-ending, horrific, market action.
What in the hell are you talking about? We’re down roughly 5%, oh the fucking horror.
YELP is going to pay in a big way. Fly is 100% on the money with YELP. One could argue blow off top, but I see it as lots of interest and now back to support. However, your allocation looks like something I would do and I’m working with six figures not eight. Ballsy, a bit crazy, but I like it. Get ready to scale out quickly and reduce risk if market gets back to 1400. Don’t push your luck.
Fly, I bot $GMCR today near the close. What’s your take on it? Thanks in advance.
2 words. accounting fraud
Ouch
At a minimum, we should see a bounce after all the selling so leverage at this point is probably a good thing, especially if you use any bounce to lighten up on positions.
I wanna get drunk with fly and ride around listening to fabulous and french Montana .
Fabolous, my man. One must get the ghetto cred correct.
everyday this guy is on his blog, putting his emotions and feelings and most importantly, his book on the interwebz for people to see… coming on here and talking any kind of shit on him at any time is disturbing…
…i say this because win or lose you know there will be someone on here making negative comments
haters gonna hate homie.
Bet with Le Fly…Bulls are in command. Love the leverage (former crank addicts always do). The retail investor has been washed out and the bears have overstayed their welcome. Recipe for massive winship.
There’s sure to be plenty of margin liquidations just waiting to be bought.
Thanks for sharing this Master Fly.
Btw, any plans to buy JakeGint’s ( http://www.jakegint.blogspot.com ) margin call?
Herr Dr Fly……Did you or anyone you know get involved with this?
http://www.capstoneturbine.com/news/story.asp?id=649
Old news.
I realize that. The question was if anyone in this august group went for it.
Wow. I’m impressed. Hope this will turn out well for you fly.
The last time you used margin (you said in 2009), what month was that? Was it following the market’s turnaround and then a swift pullback type scenario similar to what we have now?
Are you referred to as “the Mad Scientist” professionally or just a made up user name?
Read something about the Mad Scientist in Barron’s or some other rag.
I am not sure what you’re referring to. I made up this name. Please direct me to a link if there is one.
7% leveraged? Lol, wake me when theres a coupla zeroes after the 7.
I am angry.
Dr,
Good luck!
I got stopped out of multiple position today and will stay out of the market for now…need some rest.
Mr.P
A Kamikaze with a hopefully better ending! Welcome to the club.
Respect.
time to do da Deebow!
Just so long as you didn’t consult the Oracle of Delphi before making this move. Because that didn’t go so well for King Leonidas. But it was a glorius death 😉
I would love to know who influences The Bernanke. Does the banking cabal text him in the middle of the night? Does Obama snuggle up to him in bed and whisper subliminal messages in his ear? Does Teahouse on The Tracks have the real scoop on -$200 billion M5 guaranteeing more QE?
This is for all the Mad-Max types that read survival blogs…
You have not been advised to:
1. Have a 1 Watt handheld laser. This will burn out someone’s retina at under under a mile in a couple of seconds. Nobody can shoot at you when they are blind as a bat
2. Mosquito netting
3. Y2K Chili maker. You take a crap in this device and out pops delicious chili.
4. Obtain 24K gold chain: That’s how business was done when coin of realm was debased. You can wear it around your neck and pinch some off like your morning bowel movement to buy whatever.
Back to post writing. http://ibankcoin.com/stocksrider/stocksrider-the-sequel/
If the ECB doesn’t get all gay and intervene in the auction tonight I should see my pretty blood in the streets again tomorrow. BTW can I bitch slap the AA CEO, there are Two PMI reports out of China and he failed to even mention how the HBSC’s PMI (which tracks many more companies vs the Govt PMI) sucked big time. IMHO AA should sell off during the day after a morning pop. It is nice when the clams around the world aren’t messing up my analysis..
Nymph is going gangster on us. Lol
Crazy like a fox … heard that somewhere, Ha!
lol…Gangsta life for me, straight up G..lol. Europe Session is opening up and bond yields are falling, does have the feel that ECB is playing in the bond market again leading into the Italian and German auctions..we will see.
She’s pay’n BRA’s lifesyle, step off this brodda’s -ishness nau!
You do a good enough job on your own messing up your analysis.
Down 40 grand in 5 days! Just love the long, small steps up and the parachute jump (sans the parachute) down!
40 grand is a Camry
Get back to me when you lose a Bugatti
So is that what you are down in 5 days?
1.5 million?
It’s all relative. $40k to you is nothing but could be everything to JTU. Don’t be a prick. You’re better than that FLY.
YELP half and half http://fifty2weekhi.blogspot.com/2012/04/yelp-dichotomy.html
