No Matter What, We’re Going Higher

You can buy stocks based upon a war in Syria and Iran or no war at all. Should stocks sell off a bit, light a cigar and simply wait for them to come back up. I will be clicking on the buttons on my computers to just buy shit whenever I get the urge. Shares of YELP and destined to trade significantly higher because it’s disruptive and infectious.

We don’t need fucking jobs when the market is going up on a daily basis. Take your fucking welfare checks and toss them into the market. This is Obama’s gift to you, an attempt to make amends for bulldozing the economy into the ground.

I have no fear because there is no such thing as fear. Therefore, I eagerly await egregious stock market gains.

Why would you be long a shit stock? Especially one that relies on FB for 90% of its revenue, has almost 90% of its float in lockup, had R&D expenses grow by 800%, looking to buy another shit company that recently overtook it with the number one game on FB, and that would (with the acquisition) not have enough cash to pay it’s expenses. Also it is currently trading at a premium of 150x earnings. Also, have you considered that their number one game, “FarmVille,” uses copied source code from “MyFarm,” thus causing them to be sued by the developer SocialApps?

Secondary offerings used to be seen as bad. Now they are awesome because more shares, equals more people to buy them up. It’s like selling more seats to a sold out basketball game.

    Everybody makes money!

I like global warming and secondary offerings.

What will derail this market is a war in the ME. And the odds of one happening between now and June are now significantly higher than they were a couple of months ago. I’m starting to think that it’s coming, an April/May surprise rather than an October surprise. Planning is under way. US, UK and France have 6 carriers in the area, with the USS Enterprise on the way to make a 7th one. Might be the sacrificial lamb, as it is on its last mission before being retired.

Steady stream of stories from the White House press now on the subject. We’re getting prepped.

Most of all, oil market is beginning to price it in.

“And the odds of one happening between now and June are now significantly higher than they were a couple of months ago. ”

Why? Because the media is hyping it now? Lots of people out there are extremely gullible. Speculators are greedy and speculating, but they are only speculating. They don’t know if there will actually be a war. They hoard oil in case there is one, so they can cash in. If there is no war, they are bagholders.

May I ask on what do you base your timeline for a war with Iran? I mean, aside from that fact that CNN said so.

Oh, and “beginning to price it in?” ???

Oil market already priced it in a while ago. There is a risk premium built in now at these prices. 2 months from now, if oil is still the same price it is now, are you going to tell us again that oil market is beginning to price in a war with iran?

I don’t know Mad, I don’t think it had priced it in two or three months ago.

And the media hyping it does not simply come from nowhere. It is fueled by the release of information, by the developing preparations, by the movement of carriers, and by press briefings. It also has to do with the meeting between Obama and Netanyahu.

As for why April/May and not summer, if you were Pres, wouldn’t you want to have the thing over and done with by the end of the summer? So you’d give yourself a margin in terms of time, no? I don’t see this happening, in other words, in October…

I could be wrong, of course, but I feel like there’s a slow and steady ramp going on. It’s not the GWB war-drums, as that has no credibility at this point, but it’s definitely there. To my mind, sending the Enterprise to the Gulf on a final mission is telling. Why do we need four carrier groups in the gulf?

With respect to a ME war, why does such an event automatically mean that equities are heading lower?

If the market levitation is controlled by sleight of hand and Bernanke’s magic wand, those two forces can remain in full force and effect during any such ME conflict. A war may send stocks down for a brief dip but a quick wave of Big Ben’s magic wand (no dick) should be able keep the indices moving higher during a war.

I didn’t notice any market collapses due to Libya rebellion or Egyptian islamotardation, but hey, don’t let facts get in the way of the know-it-alls, MetalLeg. The more they hype a market-collapse-due-to-pending-ME-War, the more it will trade higher and higher.

      • remote spooky

I don’t think anyone has been hyping a collapse. That was certainly not my point.

As for libya or syria vs. Iran, not the same thing. Syria is not even a remote possibility for us combat troops. Neither was Libya, and neither is Iran I don’t think. But Iran is a much larger country and the gulf a different place.

Look, no reason to bust my chops. All im saying is that there is a real chance of some kind of conflict here. I thnk Obama is not bullshitting when he says he will not allow a nuclear-armed Iran. I don’t know how you prevent that over the course of the long-term, but I think that will not dissuade US and Israel from doing it. Regional war from this is a real possibility. There is Hezbollah in Lebanon. Egypt could very well erupt again. Who know what turkey will do?

Libya is just not a legitimate comparison.

I think that the Fly is absolutely and completely 100% correct.

After much preponderance of the multiple years of the information and evidence available.

That through the extrapolation of said information and evidence. The following can be surmised.

From Peter Lynch in the 70’s and 80’s, to Jamie Dimon in the 2000’s, expressed upon the backdrop of the Rothschild dynasty,(by lying about Napoleon), to George Soros,(as the man who broke the bank of England)

The basis of all, which, when studied, has had a clear cut, long-term agenda. An agenda that has spanned the many, and continues to span, the many more evolving generations.

From my perspective, this is the rally of all rallies. This will not be allowed to end, until it ALL ends.

Of course, the downside is the dollar will eventually become worthless, in a despotic world of tyranny and anarchism, in a haze of martial law and wars.

In the meantime, enjoy the fruits of life.

Do be generous with your wealth, and your heart.

It has become clearer and clearer by the day, by the week, by the month.

This is the show of shows, the finale of finales the grandest of the grand.

Cheers to the mysterious “third party”, whom has bestowed upon the great civilizations of time, the knowledge and the tools to become what we’ve become.

Remember, that all those great civilizations, had one thing in common, no matter where they were set upon the globe.

They all mysteriously disappeared, suddenly, and without warning. Or did they have a warning?

I think it is pretty clear we do.

But that wouldn’t jive with greed and lust and selfishness of our daily existence.
