Greece defaulted and CDS will be triggered. As a result, the Euro is plunging, down 1.15%. With the dollar soaring higher, the market is NOT trading lower. It’s up another 40 points and to make matters even more baffling, both gold and silver are ripping higher.
The dollar is soaring and so is gold and silver. Got it.
Oh, everything else is up too, across the board, with exception to all of my positions. Copper is a real standout, and corn.
The market is honey badgering higher because the bears are too busy singing the homosexual opera, instead of weighing into commodities. The market should be down, but it isn’t because we’re all scared of getting our dicks cut off.

Maybe the correlation between the dollar and PM’s is broken. That happens with intermarket correlations at times. Oops, I’m showing my age. I admit it. I’m over 47-1/2. But even you youngsters could look at a long term chart and see that these correlations often just stop.

If you review my sole comment on your blog in the past, you will note that I admit, wholeheartedly, to being a simpleton member of the unwashed masses. While I sincerely hope this comment does not render me banned, I must ask you how your current commitment to VXX differs from the previous commitment.

Yessir, not all that glittering uptrend is limited to gold. Had substantial positions in MCP and LYSCF going into Friday and was pleasantly suprised. Both are longer term doubles but you have to endure boring interim periods with no news as the unfolding schedule of growth milestones isn’t as regular and predictable as, for example, a 10Q.
