Towards the end of trade, I bought 100,000 shares of ALJ, one of the cheaper refiners out there, beaten down almost into dust. For the day, I eked out gains through the sashaying of TIF.
My VXX tits deflated a bit; but I still like it more than any other stock. There is a wide array of shit looming, readying to drop anvils on all of you goat-fuckers.
On the long side, I am warming to the LED space, due to renewed Chinese interest. My sources tell me China will be giving an update on their LED plans before mid-year. On that news, shares of CREE, LEDS, VECO and AIXG should trade higher. RBCN is a different story, addled by competition, fucked inside of a fagbox.
KSWS spiked higher, likely due to Kenny “motherfucking” Powers. I am interested in that name too. After all, the marketing strategy is brilliant.
The fact of the matter is, whether Saudi pipelines are emitting black smoke or not, crack spreads are north of $31 and the WTI-Brent spread is now north of $16—huge tailwinds for mid-continent refiners like ALJ, DK, HFC and WNR.
Nevertheless, the market is having difficulty breaking through 13,000. I will be constructive with my buys, as we hit up against this wall.

The Fly is God.
Hi Fly
Watch out for the Morganza spillway.
Or on a larger scale, The Old River Control Structure
It is a funny little market we have here Pal. BTW, the “hey buds, dinner isn’t going to fix itself,” almost resulted in a $60 Malbec being thrown at my face like an anvil from a trebuchet.
rightfully so.
If she did that, the appropriate response would have been “well, get to it. it’s not gonna clean itself up.”
Yeah, where’s your mop, Sis?
________
I believe my response would have been “a fine vintage waisted on beasts(my dogs) , now I assume you will be following them around to clean up in the event that they vomit? Now the business of dinner has not been resolved, also I am thirtsy and there is a fresh 6 pack of IPA in the fridge”
I’ve been thinking lately that I’d be stupid to go against the brilliance of The Fly – so I bought some volatility today at bargain prices $UVXY
Fly is back, long live the Fly! Fuck yeah, refiners and crack spreads, no holding back here.
You’re fucking welcome.

Did Keystone XL just get more likely?
Can you spell ZNGA? Fly, why shy of social play? Anything tied to FB will rip tits until it starts trading. And ZNGA will continue to be in the forefront, no?
I’ve been on this site longer than anyone save the proprietor, Woody and maybe Danny, and yet, even now, I have no idea what a Fagbox is, never mind how one would go about getting fucked in one.
____________
It’s an inside joke between Jeremy and I.
In the game Diablo II, you could type messages that would appear above your in-game character (ninja, barbarian, w/e). So a semi-transparent bubble of whatever you typed would pop-up above your character’s head. As a joke/insult to other players, some players would type a message that simply said “fagbox” — and then proceed to move their character such that the bubble/message box was positioned on top of another player — giving the visual effect of that other player being entrapped within the so-called “fagbox”. Victims would then try to run away from the box, but this only lead to them being chased by the person teasing them. Personally, I’m not a fan of the word — but it was an amusing sight.
no idea what it is either, but great prose nonetheless.
Turn of Month effect in progress
Fly…I agree with you on VXX, although it is a slow death while we wait. It is a long term loser. What is typically your max holding period for VXX? I am tired of the day in, day out kick to the nads. I almost always regret buying VXX!!
I’d throw in AIXG with RBCN. Did you see what they said today?
Aixtron down over 6% after missing on the bottom line and providing cautious commentary regarding FY12 (AIXG) 15.33 -1.06 : Overnight, the co reported Q4 (Dec) loss of EUR0.11 per share, EUR0.31 worse than the Capital IQ Consensus Estimate of EUR0.20; revenues fell 37.7% year/year to EUR140.1 mln vs the EUR138.18 mln consensus. Total order intake for AIXTRON in 2011 was EUR 513.4m, 31% down compared to 2010 (EUR 748.3m) with order intake dramatically slowing down in the second half of the year. The year end order backlog stood at EUR 141.0m on Dec 31, 2011, 49% lower than at the same time in 2010 (Dec 31, 2010: EUR 274.8m). Outlook: With currently very limited order visibility, it is far more difficult than in previous years to provide a full year guidance. However, mgmt believes that 2012 looks set to be a transitional year between LED investment cycles with potentially lower revenues (cons: -37%). Consequently, although unable to offer a precise rev and EBIT margin guidance at this point in time, mgmt anticipates remaining EBIT profitable in 2012 (cons: EUR66 mln). AIXTRON mgmt will present a full year revenue and EBIT forecast as and when visibility improves.
I am cautious on AIXG, more bullish on CREE
“fucked inside of a fagbox”
classic.
Fly….what are the head winds that you mentioned that might fuck this market for at least a full day?
AJI looks toxic. I wouldn’t hold that POS for more than a week. It will revisit the 52 week low within the next 3-4 months.
An opinion here that claims that Keystone will increase the price of crude.

LOL. I like this comment the best:
Uh, actually – it would be largely going to the US. Anyone with a basic knowledge of distribution, ownership, and simple consumption demand economics knows it would almost entirely go to the United States, James. Even if it didn’t, it would still need upgrading and refining, Genius. That equals jobs, because it doesn’t do it to itself. (I took a Junior High Chemistry class and figured that out.) Do you seriously write for Bloomberg, or is this a humor column?
And no, he writes for Newsweak and the Daily Beast, two Obamanist slave mags.
That Bloomberg would publish such drivel from such an innumerate and partisan source is a serious blow to their cred. Shameful.
