DROWNING IN OIL

Let’s look at the situation, shall we?

We shall.

0bama nixed the Keystone pipeline deal at the same time he sends out his nazi squad at the EPA to fuck with oil and gas drillers. Then, to make matters worse, he partakes in war against Libya and sabre rattles against one of the world’s largest producers of crude: Iran. To top it off, Germany, the godfather of the solar industry, tells the solar industry to fuck itself, cutting subsidies.

Do you get the picture?

A great social injustice is being thrust upon the middle class, globally. These energy prices will cripple those who cannot afford food. At around $4 per gallon, I am spending almost $300 per month to drive around the eccentric Mrs. Fly. She fashions me to be an adequate chauffeur and prefers that I drive in the left lane–at all times–while traveling on the freeway. My point is, if not for my 7 figure income, $300 per month might actually mean something to me: I think?

I am humbled by the rise in oil, as I did not expect it. But, the great part about $120 brent crude is $120 brent crude. These prices are here to stay and will likely go higher. I know it seems almost surreal; but we’ve been here before. The end game is the same: high crude prices fucks America’s poor, leading to a decline in consumerism. In the meantime, I believe these overzealous prices is reason enough to take my lazy ass off the bench and start swinging again.

Anything to do with crude can be bought because they will trounce earnings expectations. As crude trends higher, so does earnings per share. It really is that simple.

There is a ripple effect to acknowledge too, such as companies who service the oil/gas industry, like JEC and FLR.

In layman’s terms, there is money to be made off the backs of the underprivileged and I intend to profit from it.

It is, without mincing words, the greatest margin liquidation in all the world!

Indeud.

Wow, real surprised to be reading this, Le Fly.

Based on your title, I was expecting to read how $120 Brent would immediately derail this rally. Europe is in a recession today. Not tomorrow, not a forecast. Today, they are in a recession. And China will undoubtedly follow suit.

This was on Kudlow tonight. Basically we are screwed this time because of what you outlined. The oil execs with 150 IQ scores are already polishing up their answers that will be asked of them by Senators with Poly Sci degrees and the community organizer types that don’t need degrees, just baptist style pulpit intonations.

Yup the new politicians that will be asking the question do not believe in the new evil called “science”

These new politicians believe we should not in any circumstance regulate industries that could put out toxic fumes into the air, pollutants into our water, waste into the ground.

Instead they do believe we should regulate the hell out of a woman’s vagina. Definitely looking forward to the next 4 years if they win, also looking forward to going to war with Iran. I wonder how many American lives we will lose?

Hack says:

When you breathe you are putting toxic fumes in the air, the garbage you throw out is buried in the ground and your piss ends up in the ocean.

So go ahead and off yourself, the earth will thank you for it.

Woodshedder says:

Pete, it has nothing to do with the vagina, but rather the baby inside it. Big difference.

Harhar says:

Santorum wants to ban anal sex first, then probably vaginal sex out of marriage second. It’s one thing to be pro life and care about the 2000 unborn babies a day, it’s another to want to regulate the bedroom…

Santorum Quote:”One of the criticisms I make is to what I refer to as more of a “Libertarianish right”.
They have this idea that people should be left alone, be able to do whatever they want to do, government should keep our taxes down, keep our regulations low, and that we shouldn’t get involved in the bedroom, we shouldn’t get involved in cultural issues. That is not how traditional conservatives view the world.
There is no such society that I am aware of, where we’ve had radical individualism and that it succeeds as a culture.”
That is ridiculous on so many levels… The ancient Grecians had a democracy, the Romans had a free republic, US was born under individual rights for all of “the people” And he sounds just like a liberal. To contrast, limited government conservative Ronald Reagan once said “If you analyze it I believe the very heart and soul of conservatism is libertarianism. ” but I am off topic now.

Open the floodgates for the Anti-Obama threads.

Fear not, I will take some of the hits.

I plan to vote for Obama again in a few months. So do my evil liberal ‘murica hatin freinds!

We would rather see gov’t insert its power into protecting the enviroment, rather then inserting its power into a womans vagina (Virginia)

Some of you guys must realize that the President is a smart guy. Hes holding back Keystone as a bargaining chip. Its the only way to negotiate with the republicans in office. Once something we liberals want comes up, the keystone pipeline construction will start.

This is how the game is played in Warshington. Rick Santorum admitted it himself last night.

Reply

I’d vote for O before Santorum. At least with O the failure of the country will be placed where it belongs. Don’t fucking fool yourself into the thinking that the media will report that it was all Obama’s fault when Santorum gets crushed with a Greek style default in the U.S. Let Obama sleep in the shitty-bloddy-horse-head-bed he has made for himself (and our country).

Pete, get with the program. Our governor does not support the bill. It is being changed. BTW, you were duped by your echo chambers. The law did not require an “in the vagina” ultrasound unless the baby was so young as to not be detected with the traditional ultrasound. Odd, no? Imagine giving a woman an abortion and not being able to see the baby first. What would you do?

Fly can’t stand not to be long in a melt-up market…it’s his achilles heel, or some such.

I saw it last year…he had the trade called right, long as fuck TLT, but i believe he broke down and joined the melt up just before the melt down.

I can’t remember the exact specifics and don’t have the motivation to lookup the details. BUt one thing fly is good at is riding rocket ships up, and one thing he is less good at is watching rocketships from the sidelines.

haha

I like high crude. It means assholes stop using their car here and there and clogging the highways, and instead take the bus. Excellent.

What’s even better is when the over the road haulers are told to do 60 mph to save gas which means they stay in the slow lane and can’t dart in and out like it’s the Daytona 500.

Agreed. I once read that over half the vehicles on the road during rush hour were NOT commuters, but fucktards with no business impeding my progress.

Enjoy the high price of oil. For the time being, you want oil prices to go higher, if you are long the stock market. At some point later on, not so much.

Obama, and his plans, are the antithesis of capitalism.

Soon, you will have a chance to VOTE.

If you go with more of the same, you deserve everything you will get.

I’ll keep it simple, America will no longer exist, if this president gets re-elected.

Agreud. It won’t exist “as we’ve known it.”

It’s already happening. They are bringing those damned x-ray machines to my airport. This will be the straw that broke the camels back.

The NDAA recently signed into law by Obama, the law which actaully violates the 2nd Amendment, which will soon lead to marshall law, which is a police state, which is what those who vote democrat will get. Read about what it will be like for you:

Well I guess if it actually violates the 2nd amendment then the Supreme Court will strike it down. That’s kind of why we have that whole checks and balances thing.

Reply
JakeGint says:

It needs to GET to the Supreme’s first….

What did Andrew Jackson ask about John Marshall’s Supreme Court decision in Worcester v. Georgia? (the ruling that threw out the Ga. State laws on Indian removal) …

“He’s made his decision, now let him enforce it?”

Like Obama has evidenced he’s respectful of the rule of law, Po?

$4 a gallon actually isnt that much. The world wont come to an end if it goes to $5 or $6 or even $7. After all, its well over $4 per gallon in most European countries, Australia $6.9/gallon), India ($5/gallon) etc and has been for at least 10 years.
Perhaps its time for the US to switch from a Ford F-series pickup or Silverado to something less likely to consume a small countries annual fuel. Perish the thought!

Honey Badger says:

It’s the trucks! Yep, those big useless trucks are the problem. Who would ever see any utility in those ghastly things? It must be the sporty good looks those vain Americans are attracted to. Why else would a self sufficient free American want a truck? America can do without them in trade for say a Rickshaw. Maybe we can model ourselves to a European or Indian standard as obviously they’ve got it right! While we’re at it maybe we should think about getting rid of Apple Pie and baseball………….

Reply
riggedgame says:

Put the fuckin’ big trucks on NATURAL GAS, like Boone Pickens wants to do. It could be done in six months.

And tell Big Oil to stop exporting our oil and gas. Or as O’Reilly says, put an EXPORT TAX on it.

Reply
JakeGint says:

Yeah, nothing like interrupting the free flow of international trade to keep those consumer prices down.

Could you do me a favor? Look up in the dictionary the definition of “commodity,” and if you have time, Google some Econ 101 on what happens when you increase the price at any one juncture (which is what an export tax does, fyi).

Bill O’Reilly, who graduated from my high school and grew up not very far from me, is a complete buffoon. Like, Geraldo-level dumbass, despite his Hah-vahd degree.

Reply
riggedgame says:

I don’t give a fuck about “increasing the price at one juncture”. I just want to slap a $20-25 a barrel EXPORT TAX on all oil and gasoline exported from the USA.

With the decrease in USA gasoline demand we have seen in the last couple of years, and with our trucks switched to natural gas, you’d see gasoline prices below $3 a gallon.

BTW: Do you realize that Big Oil wants USA gasoline as HIGH AS POSSIBLE to try to derail Obama’s re-election?

Just like the big corporations are holding back hiring, for the same reason?

Reply
Geoduck says:

Export taxes would be horrible for the US economy. Make it more expensive to sell our shit abroad. Yeah, that would be great for our balance of trade.

Reply
Harhar says:

Big oil wants gas as high as possible? More like Obama wants oil as high as possible.
The ONLY thing that will get Obama reelected is if the stock market is rallying. And high oil price generally means a high stock market.

As much as i want to eventually have america be energy independent. High oil prices are good in the very long run.
1)once everyone else runs out or extremely low on oil, America will have all the supply
2) With high prices, the need for innovation in cold fusion, zero point energy, tesla free energy and using natural gas instead of oil will increase.
3) while the demand for oil is through the roof globally, we can THEN tap into our oil supply in the us and start drilling and own a monopoly on it.
4) when everyone wants oil, they will be willing to give up all the luxuries in the world Just to be able to have the oil to run far, equipment to be able to not starve, and all the wealth will transfer to the US as we buy everything else at low prices, and sell oil.
5)with no oil, it will be difficult for others to afford the cheap and free energy projects, some will be able to buy it from them for cheap and complete it, owning a monopoly on free energy.
6)if oil and gasoline, was given for free, we would run out faster and have bigger problems and nations of the world would start driving cars and producing at incredibly high rates, consuming the entire available supply at any given time. We would have gas shortages.. If it is expensive, less people afford it and that is much better.
