The Giants Won; Now Get Back to Work

This evening I attended a super bowl party, whose dress code was the strictest in North America: top hats, white gloves and cane. Even women had to come dressed like the monopoly guy, monocle and all, else get left outside the house like Fred Flintstone. The game went swimmingly and the host was a gentleman, as always. But now it’s time to get back to work– you fucking vagrants–so quit talking about bowls and men in tights.

There is money to be made and it’s gonna be made, believe you me, whether your head is into it or not. Some of you will be reading this tomorrow under the harshest conditions, hung over from your stupidity, poisoned by alcohol. “The Fly” measures his alcohol intake, precisely, in order to know how he might feel the next day. Like stocks, but unlike the vagaries of foolsball, drinking is a science.

Wes Welker’s dropped ball changed the entire game. That would have put the nail in the coffin.

the one with about 4 minutes left.

also, manning threw an unbelievable pass down the sidelines, as good as the catch was.

Jackie Smith part deux. The JS drop was an easier ball to catch but Welker catches that 95 of 100 times.

    A few random health ideas:
You don’t lose weight at the gym (for the mostpart). Your diet largely determines your weight.

Would you check your portfolio values once a month? …once a week if you’re serious?

Of course not, weigh yourself daily. Ideally first thing in the AM for consistency. (I weighed myself 330x last yr.) If you have a big meal, it’ll show up on the scale. Then you can eat a little less to bring it right back into range in a day or 2.

Eat a good breakfast & you’ll be able to cruise till 2pm+ on full power. Here’s my typical breakfast (do not try this at home) Mostly oatmeal (no sugar added)with the following cooked in – amaranth, quinoa, chia, flax-(a little), walnuts, sunflower seeds, plus (1 or 2) fresh or frozen fruit of some kind for sweetening (blueberries, apples, rasberries, even cranberries (yes they are not sweet), pomegranite (that’ll clean your colon), mango, watermellon (all fruit is fair game) with nonfat milk (an aquired taste)
To get a little protein I eat a bite or 2 of salmon (canned – I don’t have all day to make this), a hard boiled egg white w mayo (not healthy) I may pop a few almonds or cashews plus a multivitamin. I reserve other vitamins for the afternoon or evening when digestion is more efficient. It takes like 20 mins to eat this, but I’m at the computer so what do I care.

To minimize becoming tired & hungry, keep your blood sugar on an even keel. Try to eat lower glycemic things and eat protein, fat & carbs at every meal or whenever you eat. That helps to keep your blood sugar level from spiking and crashing. When it spikes, you get tired; when it crashes you’ll be starving. Best to minimize both.

Keep only healthy food around the house. When you get hungry, you’ll eat what’s there. Not your first choice, but it’s convenient.

Now if I can only learn how to sell when I have huge gains, which I don’t have at the moment, but expect later this yr.

OEW Weekend Report: The bottom line is this…

Major 1 of Primary Three is done at 1293 and Major 2 of Primary Three is done at 1159, and we are now in minor 5 of Intermediate 1 of Major 3 of Primary Three.

So the next significant pullback, should this count hold, would be intermediate 2 of Major 3 of Primary Three. That means that after that pullback we should be in for a real bull market thrill ride …

    That’s right!!!
