More than 700 Arrested on Brooklyn Bridge for Being Losers

[youtube:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hXJbngoQDZA 603 500]

Up until now, I’ve ignored this Occupy Wall Street crap. However, the shit they pulled yesterday resulted in a 2 hour traffic delay for yours truly. I do not like being inconvenienced, especially by unemployed hipsters. Don’t they know 0bama is the biggest Wall Street supporter in the country? These dicksuckers should go to Washington and demand 0bama’s organic resignation, instead of fucking around with my traffic algorithms.

Kinda sad, they didn’t figure out the game of life the first time around, so now they protest for a second chance.

Fly get your minions under control up there in NYC. Looks like the fk-in streets of Greece.

There is a reason this shit never happens down South here and if it does it never makes the paper.

Tell Ray Kelly to man up before this shit gets out of control and spreads.

So it’s a manly thing to sit in traffic for 3 fucking hours? I’m sure you’d enjoy that, no?

You must have a small penis, running around making such outrageous manly claims.

Real men have 4-wheel drive so snow shouldn’t matter, but unless you willing to go sidewalk driving and subsequently to jail traffic delays suck and people who deliberately cause them deserve to be sentenced to sit in the DMV for 24/7 for 1 month of every hr they caused the jam.

How do you compare delays due to a snowstorm to delays caused by these imbeciles acting on something they have no clue about?

One is a natural occurrence and the other is caused by some douchebag who wants to make a name for himself.

I took the Williamsburg Bridge in and Manhattan Bridge out today and avoided the Brooklyn Bridge although it appeared to be moving okay today. If they do that shit to me, I’ll do the cops a favor and mow em down.

I was on my way to a nicer life, and then the dirty bankers blocked my road. My kids kindergarten class goes from 20 to 26, teachers aids are laid off, and 8 million lose their jobs.

The game of life is a bitch.

That said, I would have lost my shit sitting in traffic on account of these people. I am not unsympathetic.

Except there isn’t a single Environment with the deck stacked against someone that there hasn’t been at least one person to succeed.
If the deck is stacked against you, find a way to change the rules. Put in the work to be a better person and to be dealt a better hand. There is always someone who has had it worse and still succeeded do you think Oprah was born rich? Protesting someone elses behavior is for losers that aren’t willing to take responsibility for their lives and do something they can control rather than hoping to bitch and complain until someone gives them a handout.

So if bankers are raping industry after industry, I should put in the work to “be a better person.” That’s delusional to the exact degree that it doesn’t recognize 1) that the bankers are destroying these industries and 2) if you accept point one as the reality, “being a better person” would amount to simply joining them in aforesaid destruction.

So what do you mean by “being a better person”? If I’m being a better person by working hard to educate children in this country, how exactly would I become better as my pension funds are raided and destroyed?

Please explain? Should all the bus drivers in America start their own cottage industry bus business? Is it really possible to have 300 million entrepreneurs in this country? Or does someone have to clean up after dinner and get paid a living wage for doing it?

That would magicians and they when using plural but I only know of one SAM so I should have gone with singular. As for the protesters, when I researched the story for details online, The Huffington Post reported that protesters were told by the police to take the demonstration from the brooklyn Bridge sidewalk onto the bridge, whereupon they began arresting folks. Since I walk to work most days, my heart goes out to those who have long commutes.

Buzz off, OWS. You protesters are 5 years too late to raise a fuss about this.

Over the past few years the issue of excessive greed and lack of ethics has gone well beyond Wall Street. Your protest is ignoring all the hedge funds, pension funds and sovereign debt and wealth funds that are _not_ on Wall Street, taking over trading where the investment banks have exited.

Most of the US banks have wrapped up their prop-trading operations, as they don’t have enough capital to fund them, and are too busy dealing with their own problems, with unpaid mortgages, bad debt write-offs, and legislation that castrates them from taking on any more undue risk. The US big banks won’t recover for years without Fed and government support.

And if the US banks go down we will certainly be in a depression that has no quick solution to get out of. All those banking employees will be on the street protesting with you against….what exactly, if the banks are gone?

You OWS people have no solutions since you don’t really understand the problems. All you’re good at is using social media to pull in a bunch of people to scream about things you don’t like, and perhaps recruit a few organizations that find political value from being associated with the protests (unions, etc.).

But in the end the protests are counterproductive since they aren’t targeted at the right parties. You should be protesting the government and loose fiscal and regulatory policies, as governments worldwide laid the foundation for this mess to happen in the first place.

What’s left of the Wall Street fat cats can certainly hear you people barking, but they can’t do a damn thing about the issues, as they are currently at the mercy of the market and the government.

Meanwhile investment funds outside of Wall Street can operate unabated.

You say that oil has no demand and yet you say that its price raise creeps into everything. “What demand does oil have?” What kind of question is that? Everything? Oil prices will only keep rising and will go well above $100 within a year or two. Fools can always deny the issue (tight spare supply) but it doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist.

What we need is a Million-Men-With-Guns march. Until then we as a group are sheep, easily herded into a Harvard-Yale leadership vacuum. States get bonuses for signing up food stamp recipients. Spanish television stations dole out information on how to get a license, credit cards, medicare/medicaid and don’t forget in-state tuition. On the other end of the spectrum Leo Apotheker gets a 9M severance package for running a once proud company into the ground. But remember this, in America leadership starts at the bottom and works it’s way to the top. But “They” are working feverishly to make sure that we dis-remember this uniquely American trait…

It’s pretty funny to read people’s opinions on this blog when they get angry at each other. Don’t you realize there are more important issues to discuss here, such as, what has happened to Alf44 and will Jose Mann return a different poster after listening to a Greg Solomon video?

If the NYPD tasered just one of the protesters while their arms were interlocked how many protesters would go down?

They should have tried it but only after an appropriate over/under was allowed to be wagered upon.

If you own a pair berkinstocks you fall into one of three subcategories; European, unemployed, or gay. No offense to gays for being lumped in with the other two.

I think just the last one would get the bulk of the charge. Remembering the days of the telephone pole games, where the shock from the first Guy who grabs the pole rocks the last one to be grabbed or the unexpecting one at the end of line. Now kids have Xbox and ps3.

Time to melt down Statue of Liberty for copper content and ask France for something useful – guillotine at corner of Wall Street and Broad. First up, Lloyd – hahaha, look at Lloyd’s headless body running around like a chicken!

Only the last guy in line or to get grabbed gets shocked. During 3rd grade Ive seen it played a lot mainly at one bus stop in Brooklyn with a faulty street light pole that shocked you if you touched it anywhere. I accidentally touched it once as many other unsuspecting kids did as it went unfixed for at least a year. If you touched it and simultaneously grabbed the guy next to you only he would get shocked. Sometimes 20 or 30 kids would hold hands the one nearest to the pole would grab it and only the bigger idiot(since we were all dumb) at the end of the line would get shocked ,next the person at the front would have to let go for the shock to stop or if someone in the middle broke the line the shock would go to the kid next to them . Then there was this one older kid who would grab whoever was next to him and grab the pole at the same time and surprise shock them .
Popes comment made me remember this old game, Which made me think the guy at the end would get it with the taser the worst.

The problem is, a lot of them aren’t unemployed. They are professionals agitators. See this, for example…

    Great find, Woodshedder.

Down in the comments section, someone sleuthed the registered name and address of Occupytheplanet in Kentucky.
