The Bubble in Non-Risk is Popping

Given the asshattishness of this market, 70% long is my ceiling. The rest of my money will just sit here, collecting dust, drinking Earl Gray tea.

At the open, I doubled down on my TBT position, with cause. It appears the power elite are dismantling the “risk off” trades, namely Swiss Francs, Gold, Silver and very soon Treasuries. If this market is set to trade up, there is no way treasuries hold their value. Without a doubt, yields MUST go higher, at least for awhile.

Additionally, I bought a shitload of CLF, sub $80. With the WLT news, I suspect coal and steel plays will catch bids. Plus anyway, CLF is best of breed and will trade higher, providing this market bounces.

Last but not least, I added to my WNR.

In closing, “The Fly” is in his fucking spaceship, abducting Tea Party people from Ohio and laser beaming their mustaches off. I am long WNR, GSVC, TBT, TNA, CLF and FL, in size, because I fucking S.H.O.MP. Do you?

NOTE: For the next two days, The PPT members will gain free trial access to 12631. If you were on the fence about both products, I advise you join now, in order to get a free look at the unparalleled work of Chess and RC at 12631.

Recent stats show 38% of all Europeans suffer from some form of mental illness. What do you thinks the odds are for a bunch of those folks being Finance Ministers and their advisors?

Do you have a link for that statistic? Sounds pretty unlikely.

Thanks, Ruggyup. It’s unclear whether these numbers are comparable to what found elsewhere, but still interesting. As the study says

“Because researchers in other areas use varying definitions of what constitutes mental illness, it’s hard to compare European rates to those elsewhere”

Certainly economic issues are causing lots of stress on many people the world over. Finance ministers and their advisors would be more stressed than the average person, at least if they take their jobs seriously– as they are supposed to be the ones responsible for solving the problems.

And they can’t solve them without a lot of constructive action from the people in their societies. Imagine being a finance minister in Greece.

Bank Of England is not going to give the Cocaine loving Traders more QE tomorrow…nor the Clam. And the CPI out of China won’t be so low that RRR is cut. Us bears will be back soon.

Nymph, I don’t get it, you can make money on any side, provided that it’s correct, why are you stubbornly keep leaning only on one of them and keep losing?

Albert Einstein once quipped, “Reality is merely an illusion, albeit a very persistent one.”

The entire world is filled with gloom and doom. It makes logical sense to be a “bear.” That is not the reality tho. The power elite and sociopaths driving the bus will indeed decide when it stays on the road or nose dives. Negativity is consuming when it comes to the trials, tribulations, truths and consequences of the world’s power. Positivity comes from enjoying life in the everyday here and now.

Swing trading the f*** out of ETF’s seems to be the most resourceful form of trading at this time in my life. PPT hybrid score helps with this. Everyone is at different stages in life. As long as money is being is made………… then the sun shines just a tad bit brighter 😉

p.s. I hope this 23 year old kid w/gun (apparently) “hangs” in Phili and neva’ returns to LV.

LV’s super nice to visit right now BTW. Tons of improvements, it’s quite, America’s broke, and there’s actually an international flavor (as US currency is shat on and disrespected everywhere – thanks to Generation Snoop Hog).

But, if you’re a foodie, amazing discounts (check eatinglv.com).

Nice work. You may have tripled your income, but the gov may find that to be too much, so we will need to take half back and spread it around.

My wife keeps me on a tight budget, so I don’t foresee extravagance for a good long while. Raising three boys (so far), in concert with philanthropic goals ought to help keep me from getting too overwhelmed by the hyper-consumerism that plagues the silly.
