I traded a 4 digit account into a 5 digit account when I was in high school and then was able to trade a 5 digit account into a 6 digit account in college. Now I’ve got a 7 digit account 15 years later, mostly due to investing my entire acct into precious metals in 2004. Btw, I tanked my account by more than 50% a couple of times, once being heavy in options during the crash of 1998 and the second experimenting with the forex. Each event was priceless in its lesson and has made me the swing trader I am today.

So I stop in my local Jos A Bank today while shopping with the mrs. Since I do enjoy their dress shirts I thought I would grab a few.
Previously, the cost was $79.50 per shirt. Today I noticed the same style shirts cost $87.50 or a 10% increase in cost!
However, the salesman gave me the weekend special upon me asking (since there is always a sale at JOSB) buy 1 shirt get two free!
So three shirts cost $87.50.

Most folks of Fly’s social class have been convinced that their best interests politically and economically are the same as Immelt’s and Blankfein’s– when actually their best interests are more similar to those of the middle class. Both small businesses and middle class individuals are being taxed to death, to make up for situations like GE paying no taxes and getting a $3.2 billion tax benefit

Fly, do you get a $3.2 billion tax benefit if you make billions of dollars in profits? If not, then your interests are not likely the same as GE’s. Not to say that the other party should be able to waste money either.
But both parties screw over the middle class– even including, or maybe especially, the upper middle class.
