And Volatility is Collapsing

As predicted, the VXX is collapsing, as the market bounces, spurring my puts forward by 28%. I got my DECK, BPFG and XIV common going, GSVC is sucking dick, and the sun is shining bright outside. This is revenge trade to the extreme on VXX and I intend to slay the bitch every which way but loose. I added to my VXX put positions, stated inside The PPT and 12631 earlier this morning, around $1.70.

The market looks great. I’ve expanded my watchlist and will be adding to equities, AFTER the cocksuckers in Congress fuck the world over tonight.

I may start a position in TLB today. I’m going through the conference call and financials now. Could be a good turnaround story. Management seems pretty adamant on strong and swift changes.

Enjoyed your Stocktwits last night, Fly. I haven’t figured out how to twit stocks myself, but I read other people’s twits/questions and your answers. Very informative. Thanks.

Ruh-roh, Governor McBurglar (aka Christie) rushed to hospital after having trouble breathing this morning…probably a Big Mac lodged in his windpipe.

News is noise. The market determines what news will be focused on and how it will be interpreted, not vice versa. The news does not determine the market movements– except in very rare instances.

Fly is right, that we are going sideways until there is some real big reason to go up or down.

I am not in it, but this is one amazing stock to watch. They seem to make it zoom upward sometimes and make it fall precipitously at other times– on no volume whatsoever. I didn’t even know that such large moves could be accomplished on such a small percentage of average daily volume, before I watched this. Amazing. I guess this means something but I don’t know what.

I would take it too mean that the majority of the float is not trading, but is being held by long-term holders, thus only leaving a small amount of shares to transact amongst the unwashed.

I wouldn’t take it to mean that at all. This stock traded less than 10k shares per day at one point. The float is tiny, that is why there is no trading and high volatility. At this point, there better be some good news, or this thing heads back to $14 within 2 weeks, and the secondary gets cancelled.

eggzactly, you can move a stock violently if you wanted to with a float, and volume like that. hell, some people dont even know how they can change bid prices, and i’ve done that with companies with huge floats. i dont think i have paid for anything at the ask in the last three years.
