As I sit here in Amish country, enjoying the views, my WNR is shooting higher. For all of those who doubted me, I invite you to shoot a few rounds of a howitzer into your mug. It never was a matter of “if” but a matter of “when”, with regards to my winship in WNR. I can sell now and book 25% gains. However, like I said before, if I sell now I am no better than most of you. We all know, deep down, that simply isn’t the case. The only reason why I sold some last week was because it made up 40% of my overall holdings, a number meant for the criminally insane. I took it down to 20%, which is still very, very high.
My second largest position is CLF, shooting higher at the moment. I will sell some after the $100 roll.
VMW completed the roll today, gapping up near $106. Now it is behaving all depressed and shit, down on a big up day. Wait for it.
JCP was down a buck early. But now it is rallying hard. I still like the name.
Finally, I just stepped in and bought a shit load of MWW and a little DVR, to go alongside my earlier purchase of PSUN. My cash position is around 50% and my year to date gains are about 14-14.5%, year to date.
Remember when you were mocking my 5% YTD gain and I told you to prepare for “The Great Spectacle”? Yeah, eat a dick.

I was bullish on this market for most of this move back up. Was especially bullish on oil and oil stocks , since the SPR release. But, nothing in this market will survive expensive gasoline.
Funny how i can’t find one bull to argue this point on gas prices.

the only bullish aspect to 5 dollar gas is the fed gov increasing their take every month, gas came down right before the holiday, and is inching back up again. the “conditioning” is not over yet.
The bullish aspect to $5 gas is the lame argument some politicos are using to change the CPI calculations. If the price of gas goes up, people will use less. Therefore, it doesn’t really matter.

Let me just say something, since the age of 9 I have been working for our family manufacturing business. I am now 36 and I have have never seen this level of crazy demand from every end market we serve. Semi, Industrial WasteWater Treatment, Pharma, Educational Research Facility,etc. is at a fevering pitch. I spoke with the head of one of the largest Laboratory Equipment OEMs this morning and the guy was talking hyperbole the entire conversation, saying its booming like he has never seen.. Residential Construction and related industries are the only drag out there… If that gets going, this market is headed much higher vis a vis a debt ceiling raise. Pesronally, I believe this is all one sick Ponzi Scheme, but it is what is..
