When it goes down, everyone feels a need to explain why to everybody else, or to give reasons why it will go back up soon. When it goes up, it needs no justification. Most folks don’t like to sell short– although the short sellers are more vocal than everybody else is.

Jesus, Fly, if you had just bought DIA on Jan 3 you’d be just about where you are now.
Really? I am up 2.5% again, pushing to 10%. So eat a dick.
But he wouldn’t be where he’s going to be on Dec. 31st, by buying DIA. He has ups and downs but it seems each year he does well. Fly trades in and out of various stocks every day though, which is not a trading style most of us can do. Most folks would have been better off buying the DIA on Jan. 3rd for sure.
