Incorrect. Market data and price fluctuations are USUALLY driven by humans. However in Pomoland the data and price fluctuations have been artificially manipulated, and have therefore been tainted and are not reliable indicators of intent.
This will end very badly.

Raised cash all day, I think we sell the Greek news regardless of outcome plus Obama talking budget/debt ceiling at 11:30. Market doesn’t like when he speaks during day unless he’s got something up his sleeve. Plus PM’s still have another day after tomorrow to window dress at cheaper prices for Thursday month end. Looking at the chart the OB sign isn’t that reliable.
The OB signal is less reliable than the OS. However, it’s been nailing them to the day as of late. That’s the nature of it.
Bottom line: above 3.10 you better heed caution. I have 3 years of data, separate from this chart, that speaks volumes.
According to what I’m looking at, we might have hit a pretty good intermediate bottom. The dip, if there will be one, will be short lived.

OB is never as reliable as OS. The market has an upside bias. This proves to be true in study after study after study.
Want a hint? I’ll give it to you anyway. Set your Bollinger’s tighter on the top. It will let you know when the market is getting ready to go abnormal to the upside, giving you a chance to ignore (somewhat) you OB indicators.

PPT signals are for Asshats….from mid-March to early-April, there were FIVE overbought signals before any correction. I would have been frustrated if I listened to the magical time machine and sold on the first one…
