I am expecting a mild sell off, after days of gains. For the love of fuck, I am up 5%+ right now.
I sold out of big positions: AG and CVI. I bought a little more CLF and started new positions in YGE and DHI. I kicked out HOGS when it was up a buck and took a minor loss in VIT and SOHU. I am keeping everything on a short leash.
Considering my cautious stance, I upped my cash levels to 15%. I am not in a rush to sell everything, mainly due to my overweight exposure to WNR, now more than 30% of assets. I know it’s a lot and is not “safe” in the traditional asset allocation sense of the word. However, I am emphatic about the prospects of the company. Plus the voices in my head tell me to buy as much as I can whenever I can.
I am now up for the year and in a position to buy dips. Keep in mind, 15% of my assets is like everything you could possible save during your lifetimes, multiplied by a factor of 1 zillion.
Life is good and my pimp hand smacks the teeth out of the mouths of those who act against me.

Fly…so far I have not paid for any advice from PPT or the dip-masters. What, do you own them or something? I don’t quite understand the relationship of the blogs and the subscription services.
Since you seem like a fairly non-bullshit kind of guy, is the PPT worth the money? Is the Dip thing? When your black box generates lots of stocks to buy, how do I pick the one to go with? Is there some sort of rating or probability chart that comes with it?
I guess I just want to get my money’s worth as I am doing shitty on my own.
If you are doing “shitty on your own” I’d suggest getting some help.
The PPT is no “quick fix” money machine. You have to invest the time and study to reap it’s benefits. Hell I’ve been in it for damn near 2 years, but I’ve got a real job, so I don’t know 10% of what some of the experienced guys know about PPT and it’s applications. Follow guys like Omen; PoPimp; Chuck Bennet; the Wife — they’ve all got perspectives and trading styles. As far as the tabbed Bloggers go, they are all freaking other worldly good traders, each with a different approach and portfolio make-up. I haven’t even mentioned Monsieur LeFly yet. Suffice to say, I have not met/followed anyone with the market perception (provided by his command of the PPT) of Senor Tropicana, and he’s damn funny in the bargain. Hell for a couple of hundred $’s take the plunge on a 6 month sub. Worst case scenario is that you’ll learn something and you’ll enjoy the shits and giggles.
