Take it Personal

I never get mad at stocks, only my bad decisions. Despite what your dog brains think, stocks do not know you are invested in them. The losses are never personal, only the jackass who made the decision. When I take hard draw downs in my investments, literally, I look at them without emotion. Wall street is not stupid for selling my stocks. It is what it is. Getting mad at stocks for being “stupid” is the very definition of amateur.

Here is what you need to know:

The money is not yours to begin with. The government has the power to take away from you at will. If you are investing your money like a clown fucking asshat, don’t get mad when you are separated from your digits. Your loss is someones gain, financial Darwinism.

The stock market, as it stands now, is the longest line of cocaine that has ever existed. Like the marvels at Puma Punku, it defies logic and reason. It makes the pyramids at Giza look like childs play. Thus far, I am up just 0.4% for the day, led by gains in WNR. Emphatically, I believe the refiners are one of the few spots worth investing into, not for trades. Some stocks are good trades, others are investments. My OXY is ripping tits. I am saddened to have sold 90% of my position the other day. However, I am elated that I sold 90% of my MWW position.

At the moment, I am digging ALJ, CVI and WNR, especially after the recent pullback.

Some more “birther” fun. They forgot to mention the legal fees in keeping things hidden. This list could be expanded by about 10 points.

WNR will have its day in the sun.

Fly, I enjoy your commentary and your sense of humor, but I’m not sure you get the big picture when it comes to the market. The big six Wall Street holding banks had perfect trading quarters. How did they do that against all odds? By using free money from the Fed and the Taxpayers, and employing huge leverage and lightning fast computers, they were able to rig the market and swing in any direction they chose. The average stock is held for only 22 seconds, because a handful of quant traders controls an over whelming percentage of the whole market. They always have inside information, because they are the insiders. We are not.

The six large Wall Street banks have assets, valued at mark to model, that equal over 60% of the US GDP. A stock share is worth what they say it is worth. Additionally, these banks, along with the other Primary Dealers, control the Fed, and the Fed controls the dollar. The value of the dollar against the euro dictates the strength and weakness of the market.

On almost all days that the dollar gains value against the euro, the US stock market goes down. On almost all days the dollar loses value against the euro, the US stock market goes up. The market is easily moved in one direction or another by agreements between the Fed and the EU central bank. If you don’t believe this is true, just click on the link below for a chart that compares the S&P 500 with the USD/EUR. Here is proof that when the dollar goes down against the euro, the US stock market goes up.

Stocks cost more in weaker dollars, so the share prices rise as the dollar falls. It is inflation (dollar deflation) that increases share prices. It is as simple as that. The Wall Street banks that control the Fed, control the market, and this chart gives you the proof:

Don’t get me started. A lot of malicious and misleading statements have been flying around about this birth certificate business, not the least of which is that carnival barkers are involved. Let me set the record straight. We do not bark about birth certificates. Our customers want to see two headed things and headless things. Let me put it this way. Supposing you are enjoying one of our sideshows all drunk with your crackspread hanging out. Are you going to pay your hard earned two bits to look at someone’s lousy birth certificate? I thought not.

      Baron,

Thanks for the lesson but take a hike. No one–and I mean, NO ONE–on this here site gives a damn about the “big picture.” This site is about minting coin and minting coin, only. “Understanding” the big picture would have you churning out the pathetic returns of a ZeroHedger.

If they put on a tax of $0.0001/share on every trade it would stop a lot of that nonsense.

“Fuck off”? Hey, if this is some kind of a solicitation, no offense, but I have no interest in your vagina. Although, it has probably been well lubricated by one of your refineries. No need to unzip the Fly on my account.

That is part of the reason I like the high-flying little mining and oil and gas companies that are too small to be bothered by this type of manipulation. Thinly traded and extremely undervalued is my approach.
