This week marked an epic decline in volatility, as investors said “fuck you, you’re dead” to short sellers, and bought stocks as if it was 1999.
Check this out: I am driving in a car without brakes, foot firmly pressed down on the gas— heading for a cliff— fully intending to make it over to the other side.
With regards to WNR, it tracks tightly to crack spreads. Hence, let the crack be your messiah.

Really? If the opposition gets in as a coalition, they will increase deficits and taxes dramatically, with huge outflows to each of their silly liberty-stomping pet-projects. Rediculous. The cost of oil and gas production will rise with increased corporate taxes, and the States will get burned too through higher energy costs.

Dan..China Mobile selected Alcatel-Lucent to participate in the TD-LTE trial network deployment in China. TD-LTE vs FD-LTE is a system that China Mobile created and that they are testing. TD-LTE uses one radio channel to both transmit and receive data, vs two.It appears that Wifi can support TD-LTE if the trials work out.

And my take, cuz I am looking for the China Market to take a hit soon as it slows and Copper continues to trend down…I would not be a buyer. But I am a Bear so of course I would say that.. But if you must, market should be biased to the upside for about 10 more days so you can play it long for a quicky.

I can tell you this, out of all the refineries, WNR is the most under owned. With over 7 bill in annual sales and just 35% of shares owned by institutions, with 25% of shares sold short, a PERFECT squeeze awaits.

As the fuckin’ rigged market keeps rising (on distribution). Put on you life jackets.
Six-month and 1-year puts are CHEAP.
Also, China is saying that they found radiation on a Merchant Ship plus its crew. Japan is a export country which may find no one interested in their stuff. The Japanese Story has some ripples that no one is even starting to think about. But Bottomline, Its that Darn Ben B Put in the market that is doing all of this, Maybe finally the other fed heads will put the leash on him and stop QE ing in June….we will see…on Friday they were sounding a lot more hawkish..a good NFP this Friday may finally do it?

Love the crack spread play – with you on WNR and VLO. Many thanks for sharing. Love to get your read on what happens to it, and the stocks, if/when another shoe drops in sand land. Looking at USO, UGA, and UHN on a percent change chart since October 2010 (120 min) it appears as though all three are double topping. I know that this may elicit a chart chomper response, but my point is that it appears a critical period is upon us:
1. Crude rockets (via middle east mayhem) and spread narrows
2. Refiners crack the shit out of crude for shits-n-giggles (as well as profits) and flood the market with gas/oil and spread narrows
3. Heating oil and gas continue to rocket higher relative to crude and spread widens
Why does #3 happen, esp given the monster move they have had since September?
