If you want to know where the market is going, look no further than Google. They reported good earnings and have been fading all day. Now down 1%. To me, that is a tell that the market is milquetoast.

Have you considered making an index for momentum? Call it “Impatient Trading, Shut Up and Pay” aka ITSUP.
Doing a screen for P/E and FPE over 30 yields with price over $5 and volume over 500K yields 53 hits that capture a bunch of the high fliers. Cherry picking some and adding others could help monitor the momentum trades.
