Aggressively Betting Against America (for the time being)

With today’s sale of GLW, my cash position is now over 40%. Pair that bitch with my 22% VXX and I am pretty damn defensive right now. I could very easily buy more VXX down here; but I’d rather eat fish. Plus anyway, my recent foray into longs like BUCY/FLS netted a good sum of profits for me. I am inclined to play defense on the way down, and aggressive offense on the way back up. But, there is a notable difference in the manner and nature with which I trade my personal aggressive accounts. Keep in mind, small plebs, these are not retirement accounts or the family estate accounts. These are “fuck you money” accounts, where I endeavor to outstrip you in the most belligerent ways known to mankind.

In those accounts, I am up more than you can fathom; therefore, I will not share the percentage return in these chambers. With these accounts, I have dedicated them, exclusively, to trading The PPT ranges. In others words, when it says OVERBOUGHT, or close to it, I sell and bet against the market. When it says OVERSOLD, I go long the most egregious 3x ETF publicly traded, utilizing my intuitive position building skills, only learned in a small part of the world—just east of Flatbush, Brooklyn. I do not debate with computer generated algorithms that have proven to be more than 75% accurate in timing pivot points, for that would qualify me for a rubber room dressed in an Armani sleeveless dinner jacket, and would be pure madness.

Gentlemen, we are in an OVERBOUGHT cycle and will remain in one, until my robots say otherwise (it’s not delusion when it’s true). As a result, I have positioned 75% of the assets in my accounts into TZA. With the remainder of the cash, I will average down in the position, if need be.

For managed accounts, my largest position is VXX, then BAC. With profound warnings in the tech space, my money is betting on rapid VXX appreciation sometime very soon, just in time for the debut of Wall Street 2, as unbelievably stupid as that may seem.

NOTE: Questions are not welcome, nor accepted, on this here blog.

Thank you.

Quickly, quickly, all must subscribe to the PPT. Delayed obedience is rebellion.

I am contemplating throwing some American money on those Chinese corn fuckers over at SEED due to rapid corn price appreciation along with the recent recovery of the $SSEC. It just so happens the deceptive scronny legs of the chicken men over in China own exclusive rights to produce Roger Clemens style corn known as phytase. Add in good old fashion complaining about intentional supply constraints and market manipulation through Hearst style yellow journalism and you can smell the profits they must be gaining. Their vertical integration allows them to control most aspects of their business and leverage to base commodity price increases. Their latest quarter from April through June saw gross margins expand 950 bps just from corn price appreciation. Look at what corn has done since then on the American exchanges. I don’t have a chart for Chinese corn but I bet it is the same. Risk/reward on the chart looks good too if you check the recent volatility from other Chinese and American ag stocks.

I may post more about this in the PG, stay tuned.

Something just doesn’t seem right when you talk about massive margin expansions and a Chinese publically traded equity. Call it the FUQI / NEP factor, but I digress.

Did you hear about Fuqi and the SEC? I mean, I knew the firm had disclosure problems, but their poor shareholders just can’t catch a break. Not surprising, but sad…

Agreed. Most of these Chinese companies are a complete disgrace to honor and trust regarding standards of accounting. Trying to find records of macro economic data or even micro reports for companies is a painstaking task. They may be expanding their structural infrastructure but their ignorance concerning intellectual infrastructure and record keeping/auditing of that data is pathetic.

Ignorance has little to do with it. Graft, false accounting, bribery, back door deals and the like are a way of life and not viewed as a moral choice over there. What else would one expect when dealing with a country that has so little regard for the personal well being of its people…unless said people can bring harm to the almighty state. Intellectual rights are not even on the radar.

The PPT is in no man’s land as far as I am concerned,
at least that’s how I am interpreting the hybird score that
is awesomely e-mailed to me every hour.
    Great feature.
So, what indicator on the PPT is overbought?

The Fly must be looking at a longer time frame for the PPT hybrid score, or aggregating the numbers based on a moving average, or some other manipulation.

Manipulation is the operative word in shrewd money management.

    J, for your research:

    http://minerals.usgs.gov/minerals/pubs/commodity/rare_earths/mcs-2010-raree.pdf

Consumption for most rare-earth uses in the United States decreased as a consequence of the worldwide economic downturn. The economic downturn lowered consumption of cerium compounds used in automotive catalytic converters and in glass additives and glass-polishing compounds; rare-earth chlorides used in the production of fluid-cracking catalysts used in oil refining; rare-earth compounds used in automotive catalytic converters and many other applications; rare-earth metals and their alloys used in armaments, base-metal alloys, lighter flints, permanent magnets, pyrophoric alloys, and superalloys; yttrium compounds used in color televisions and flat-panel displays, electronic thermometers, fiber optics, lasers, and oxygen sensors; and phosphors for color televisions, electronic thermometers, fluorescent lighting, pigments, superconductors, x-ray-intensifying screens, and other applications. The trend is for a continued increase in the use of rare earths in many applications, especially automotive catalytic converters, permanent magnets, and rechargeable batteries for electric and hybrid vehicles.

I joined and will re-join again and again. This shit apparently works just looking at Fly’s posts. Now someone tell me how the fuck do I find stocks or ETFs to buy or short. Is it as simple as high PPT score is a buy and low PPT score is a sell? Site is great, tons of research and tools provided but the key element here (what’s worth it’s weight in gold) is the PPT. Lastly, assuming I’m correct in my assertion, let’s say I find something with a high PPT but it’s already up 10%…is it still a buy? How often does the PPT scoring change relative to the trading action?
