I did not plan to be part of this rally; it just happened. As the stock Gods would have it, “The Fly” is being blessed with outsized gains in numerous positions.
Despite having nearly 40% in cash and 24% of assets in VXX, I am up 2%+ for the day, thanks in large part to “big dicked” gains in FTK, GLW, SD, iBN, SHLD and TEVA. In addition, I started a position in MMR, in for the fucking squeeze, Jack.
What’s important to note here, as always: “The Fly” wins all the time, even when it appears he is losing in the most heinous fashion ever. Do not bet against folks who put crop circles inside of your bullshit farms.
Into the final hour of trading, I expect to be blessed with even more exuberant intra-day gains in FTK.

I have about 40% long, directional bets in FTK, SD, SHLD, IBN etc. Some are weighted more heavily than others. Because of the limitations of my longs, some longs are very overweight, in comparison.
Oh, and FTK was up 20% at the time of post too, ballpark.

I know the top line econ numbers were “better than expected”, but they are still deteriorating. I can’t believe the market is rallying this ridiculous.
Also, the reports are actually in some ways worse if you look into the details.
These are some dangerous games being played. I am going to move largely to cash in my discretionary funds and take a big loss on the day in the process.
I am going to hold some september SPY puts. I will hold them until and unless i see private sector employment growth.
It takes massive balls to be long over weekends. Bravo to those that made money. I’m off to the beach for a few weeks. I suggest you gentlemen cash out as well. Plenty of time to make money later. Remember this market is in meat grinder mode.
