Senor Tropicana, I wanted to get your thoughts on playing NVDA to the upside via options should this market reverse. NVDA reports on August 13 I believe. I’m thinking of picking up a bunch of $12 options for the August 20 expiration at a mere $0.13 right now. The stock has been over $12 for almost a year until it got raped in April. Good opportunity to pick up a nice bounce if the earnings are good. Your thoughts?

Yeah, I’m thinking this quarter is going to be a bit bearish to reflect the potential downside that exists for 2011. I’ve moved to the 30% cash side for the time being. There may be some upside rally left here, but I’m going to see how bearish this quarter can get and get back in at some lows.

This is why you are great and I’m still learning……On Tuesday when the stupid short squeeze on the eur/usd started I was confused but didn’t sell and switch positions, instead I had to dig around for the reason for the total divergence and once I found the cause I waited for the squeeze to stop……Today the Eur/USD started to sell off, like it should have, and right at the 1.3000 level…Fly without even taking a breath switched positions….he is totally the Hot Guy at the party which everyone wants to hook up with….me I’m just handing out flyers to the next party.

Covered GRMN and took a stab at AMED here. They’re in the midst of getting Sached a la the SEC, but I find their letter to the shareholders to hold some interesting points of contention; the lack of employee compensation incentive for home care therapy professionals to hit Medicare reimbursement thresholds being one of them. Also, they don’t order the therapy, the physicians do.
They are trading slightly under book and are the leader in quarterly revenue growth YoY in their industry (+20%). Short % of float is 42%. With their FY’10 EPS from a week ago of 5.63 (now 4.70) with a trailing p/e of 5.09 and forward p/e of 5.87, you could put a price of $29-33 on it.
