I could let the election go into the night; but more pressing concerns are abound. Congratulations to John McCain Thaler for losing an election that was designed to be won for him. He will reflect on this loss as one of the worst defeats of his adult life and realize, many years from now, how gay today really was, indeed.
As for ChessnWine: great job on the grass roots effort, by way of capturing the hearts and minds of the distinguished members of The PPT aka iBankCoin’s aristocracy. Like in real life, Chessnwine won the election due to his appeal to the “worthwhile persons,” even though Mr. McCain Thaler had mass appeal with the ordinary “commercial class,” whose numbers tower over the “worthwhile persons” list, but, like in real life, don’t bother voting—since that shit is “boring.”
In other news, Europe is going Bernanke, in order to stave off a run on the EU. They promise to print a staggering 440 billion to achieve these means, which means, without a doubt, “clownish” inflation is BACK on the table. My game plan is contingent upon the first hour of U.S. trading, so I will refrain from making any statements now, only to recall them later. Just know, I am prepared to deal with whatever the market throws my way, AND MORE.

actually they were supposed to drop 1.5 percent from our friday’s close. Not only they have not done that, but they are up 1.5 percent.
So we should gap up about 2.5 to 3 percent.

I’m no seasoned vet, but never. I even took a screen shot!
I’ve only been following it for about a year and obviously I’ve never seen it either. Saw a -40 when Dubai was going to cause the end of the world before we started worrying about Greece. I didn’t take a screenshot, I’m holding out for the +50 print.

After Thursday’s events I have seen several articles referring to previous “mistake trades”. In all cases the trades were on the sell side. Wonder why these big mistakes never happen on the buy side?
This is going to be very interesting cuz Shanghai Comp is closing up, but by not very much and actually went below Sept 2009 low during the night. The Shanghai Copper Futures were up big, but not rebar/wire….LME and that 7000 level….Europe is still a mess, and normally this cat fight will startup again if this Soap Opera follows it’s normal story line. For us, I am with Fly and wait to comment…..well actually, I commented on Friday…we will probably fade the open, which is pretty darn gutsy to say w/ futures at crazy levels and Europe opening up like 4% up….we will see.
It’s pretty amazing to watch gold’s behavior. Gold seems to now have risk aversion qualities.
