Imagine no Fly blog. Imagine where you’d be had you never blogged. – unimaginable. Sure there are millions of idiots online, but one can make contacts & hear ideas, … that you would never hear at Dunkin Doughnuts.
I love the African jungle music.
That one was entertaining. It worked because it stayed to one thought and one running gag instead of trying to cover everything.
To me this project shows the difference between writing for a reader vs. writing for the screen. It also shows how actors can bring something to life, or let it die. In this case the acting skill of the animation is less than zero. So, the screenwriting has a high hurdle to make.
I think writing for the screen is like photography- the translation through the medium is as important as the subject. This particular medium (crude animation and computer voicing) requires appropriate writing.
To me, the quirky animated delivery adds to the value.
PS In my area, utilities are replacing older (standard) height telephone pole with ones that are 1/3 taller.
I guess they need to string more shit on those (last mile fiberoptics or cable?)
A possible theme? Does anyone know: is this being done elsewhere? who are the suppliers?
