Sometimes Iphones will make that leap to try to bridge the shorting of words. On some programs it can be a pain.
Three thoughts-
If a decline is likely, would the Fed “stage manage” it to a slow grind down to thwart leveraged downward players? A “forty point daily ” downward move would make it hard on those expecting a jump in volatility, no?
Is it a low probability the Fed could lose control momentarily resulting an a large one day drop?
If just about everyone is expecting a decline now (for example the end of Fed MBS support), would that not mean the market will quite naturally rally?
