Most of you norks (nerd+dork) out there are sheep. You let people boss you around, from employer all the down to the wife. Try to think outside of the “fag box” for once.
The dollar will go up because Europe is in trouble. As much as I would like to tell you “fuck Greece”; it’s not over yet. Lean into the euro, as if your life depended on it, via long [[DRR]] . With dollar strength, the risk trade is off the table, which means [[TLT]] and [[VXX]] will thrive, while the broader indices decline. I think we have a potential 700 points of downside, over the next 3 months.
As an aside, the price of sugar is down again. It means something. However, no one really knows, at the moment.

I’ll bank coin on Oil getting beat up by the dollar via SCO, but with added juice with over supply and this fictitious demand that Opec is claiming is there. The price is redickuless (sic) and inflated by the expectation that there would be continued demand – which there isn’t.
I’ve been in for most of the month (and beat up), but patience is paying off.

Most people are stupid.
Out of those people – Many people are investors and check their statement every 4 months. They don’t effect things. They are long and do not know what shorting means. They think it is something to do with baking.

Increase the Medicare tax on high-income households: The reconciliation bill’s changes to the Medicare tax represent the largest single revenue raiser in the health reform package.
The reconciliation bill, like the Senate bill, would raise the percentage paid by high-income individuals by 0.9 percentage points, so an individual would pay 2.35% on his wages.
The reconciliation bill, however, also would subject the investment income of high-income households, such as dividends, interest and rent, to a 3.8% Medicare tax.
High-income is defined as individuals making more than $200,000 ($250,000 for couples filing jointly).
Wealth is now making $200,000. It effects the very people who provide the capital and who take the risk to invest it into new ventures. Hurts employment, hurts economy, and eventually will badly hurt the market

Would long health care make any sense at this juncture?
I am looking at throwing 10% between helthcare and biotech and close my eyes for five years! Just waiting for a slightly better entry point.
Averaged in on VXX twice (Monday & Wed). Plan on going at it 1 or 2 more times. KO has upside potential IMO, so staying short my Apr10 52.50 Puts and long some of the underlying I purchased this morning. Picking up some ADBE this afternoon per Fly’s rec + the fact that I love buying into sell offs prior to earning in solid co’s. It’s always a good time.
Fly, while you’re at the broadway play I’ll be chillin’ at the Jay Z / Young Jeezy concert in Indy. I’ll take a swig of Henny from the neck for ya pimp.
