PPT hybrid seems to have better oversold predictive power in an uptrend after a new higher low has been made, and better overbought predictive power in a downtrend when a new lower high has been made.
PPT is a thing of beauty.

I went long VXX @ 25.08 this AM (small position) for a daytrade for what it’s worth.
VXX is jumpier than Fly on a caffeine high.
Tight stop.

There are only two traders of this POS- the quick and the dead.
Along the same lines as Moobs’ comments, a pullback from here puts in a lower high on the S&P (and the Nasdaq Composite and the Dow Industrials). $RUT making a higher high today but is not being confirmed by momentum (MACD). Small cap outperformance is a reliable tell of a market that wants to go higher but the negative momentum divergence in the $RUT and the overbought stochastics in all indexes makes me concerned that this could be the start of the next downtrend.
