Having a daughter who spent two years living in the Transylvania area of Romania for two years as a part of the Peace Corps, I can say there ain’t much going on there. From the beer stained taxi maxis, to the urine stained trains to the 5 year old hanging out smoking cigs it pretty much sucks. Never mind the Communist styled apartments where every once in awhile you get smoldering in the walls from the wiring if too much electricity is going on (like heat and the refrigerator going at the same time).
Are their communist style apartments like the ones in Russia where you have a big heavy steel door with about 10 locks on it? Takes you 30 minutes to get in the door after sorting through all the damn keys.
