GME is going nowhere anytime soon, my guess is mostly downhill from here, walmart and online distributors are taking the marketshare away by undercutting.
Hell, sears is probably selling games now….
I disagree with all of that except for the GME is going nowhere but down part. Walmart has no competitive advantage over GME and does not exchange or sell used games which takes up a square foot of shelf and is marked up 300% from what GME bought it for.
Years ago Cramer explained that GME was a Sept-Dec play, and that you sold just before Xmas.

As far as used games, yes Walmart is not in that market, however, Amazon, Futureshop (and Bestbuy i believe) are starting to carve out there positions of that market.
In addition to this with the increase of more and more pure digital content, the resale of items is being lost and that market is shrinking.
Steam, PSN store, Xbox Arcade store, Iphone apps, DS store, Wii Store.
These are the future of game distribution.
Kids arent spending money on these games. To much available on the internet. Its over for now look at the game stocks…….bzzzrrrrp
