The purchase price is subject to adjustment. Platinum is on the precipice of breaking out. Palladium already has. Since 10/5/09 palladium is up roughly 23% while gold is only up around 23% from 8/31/09. Platinum is only up 13% from 8/31/09.
Lumber is making a strong comeback over the past month too. LL could be a sell here, while homebuilders, home repair retailers, paper companies, and lumber mill operators could be a buy. It’s a little difficult determining where the demand pull from lumber is. I do like the news of an extended tax credit until next year and clawbacks from previous losses for homebuilders.
Don’t call it a comeback. The Turkey Gods have returned, with a vengeance, feathering their beds with basic materials and industrial goods. The streets will flow red with cranberries before op ex. Gobble Gobble.
