Play the Ranges

As you can see, my timing to step aside is impeccable. However, I can’t take full credit for such market mastery. You see, I am assisted by the best analytic engine known to mankind, better known as The PPT. Many of you are too stupid to understand the intricacies or find the sub par newsletters of James Cramer or The Motley Fool to be a better alternative. However, as you unwind over a nice mug of steamed garbage, Le Fly is eating grapes and guzzling down champagne, as if it was Poland Spring water.

Green Mountain Coffee Roasters Inc. (GMCR: 92.65 +0.31%) posted good numbers and guided up. As a result, the shareholders are “enjoying” a nuclear winter today, down 10%. This is exactly what I was looking for, in order to initiate a position. Additionally, with 3Com Corporation (COMS: 7.74 0.00%) being bought out, people think Brocade Communications Systems, Inc. (BRCD: 5.60 -2.10%) is no longer on the block. WRONG. Brocade Communications Systems, Inc. (BRCD: 5.60 -2.10%) is a good buy down here.

What else do I like? Let see….

I like POSCO (ADR) (PKX: 123.22 -0.48%) under $110, (CBD: 69.85 +0.10%) under $62, Mechel OAO (ADR) (MTL: 26.33 +0.42%) in the low $19’s and U.S. Global Investors, Inc. (GROW: 10.92 -1.53%) @ $12.

By the way, have you seen my W.W. Grainger, Inc. (GWW: 107.83 -0.77%) today? It’s not really going down with the rest of the market, now is it?

I own 1,000 Ctrip.com International, Ltd. (ADR) (CTRP: 38.65 -0.39%) from $55ish. I intend on holding those said shares indefinitely.

Finally, I want to make something clear. I am much more interested with the overall tone of the market, than specific names. I am timing the peaks and valleys of the Dow and s & p, in order to calibrate my buys into my favorite names. In short, with another 2.5% down, I will be ready to put my coin back to work. Until then, me and my coin will sit here, sipping on tall glasses of hot hot Earl Grey Tea, mixed with heavy cream, while chuckling at the buffoons on the teevee going “full retard” on this market.

HP is crazy for buying 3com for that kind of money

I am very proud of you young Mr. Fly. I never thought you would amount to very much. This was particularly true after you put the thumb tacks on my chair and threw the spit balls at me for sending you to detention.
Your grammar has improved but you need to work some more on your syntax.

  8. Panda Bear says:

Le Fly, Babality kind of seems gay for your style … I would think fatality or animality would be more suited for your style!

    Fly,
I just like to say thanks to you and the IBC crew for what you guys do. Your blog is truly the light in of sea of darkness. Other 3rd tier sites claim to be trader blogs, but really most are just bear blogs in disguise. Thanks again bro..

    Fly,

Assuming IBM has no interest in ERIC or ALU, which is a better fit for them, BRCD or TLAB?

  17. mrsbuttons says:

the only reason the market is down is the dollar is up and you nor the PPT could not have known that in advance ..that said, I agree that the market should be played on the long side..everytime I want to take something off the table and don’t , I am usually rewarded..

did I say I hate pock faced Chanos? The whores on cnbc - kernan, quick had him on defending his shit and some stupid book…said the shorts were the policemen of the market…BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Quick is an idiot. Now she is “ho”ing for gates and fellow fossil buffet. in those stupid black gogo boots and chunky thighs - swear I could see her panties at one point..ratings must still suck at CNBC ..doesn’t she know buffet does clayman too?

Gates looks like he’s phoning the rest of his life in..and I don’t mean on the “i”. ohmmmmmmmm..
