UPDATED: The Internet is Slop

Believe it or not, I do not read the goulash that is disseminated on the internet. I read news, sports and iBankCoin—that’s it.

Blogging is not for everyone. As a matter of fact, I believe 90% of the financial bloggers out there have no business offering financial commentary. Running a website is harder than you think. I have to deal with the technical stuff, the personalities of others and quality of content. Without getting into specifics, let’s just say, I have done a poor job managing the content of this site and that is going to change.

A great man once said: “This isn’t a game anymore.” The truth of the matter is, I will rip out the livers— and eat them raw— of anyone who gets in the way of iBankCoin’s destined future to become the #1 destination for financial commentary. In order for that to happen, change is necessary, starting with me.

So, effective immediately, “The Fly” will no longer be considered “nice.” Gone are the days of unwavering patience, in the dark shadows of sheer ignorance. Gone are the days when I’d talk to strangers as if they were my equal, making believe they had value. Ladies and Gentleman of the interwebs, over the past 6-12 months, I’ve gone soft—losing my ways in the euphoria of the stock market. However, I promise you, from the bottom of my black heart: Omnibus Locis Fit Caedes!

As for this market:

We should be down 200 on the bad employment data, but we’re not. Even though the banks are weak, they’re not down enough to scare guys like me out of the market. Let me be clear: you cannot stop the momentum, spawned off by the will of the Turkey Gods. With every hour that passes, we edge closer to Thanksgiving. I need you to appreciate the significance of this inalienable fact: Wall Street likes turkey and stuffing.

Into this weird tape, I like POSCO (ADR) [[PKX]] , Equinix, Inc. [[EQIX]] and Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. [[CMG]] .

Now go away you stupid, stupid people. Go away.

Let’s get Alpha back to iBC, turkey gods willing. The iBC lineup from a year ago plus the addition of Henry cannot be surpassed.

Plus, Alphadawg was one of the strongest contributors to the PPT. ‘Course some of the readership lacks the character to join us in the ivory tower [sic], which suites me. To such derelicts, I say, enjoy your donuts. The PPT has enabled me to fleece even the very worst of you, and tomorrow will be no different.

Indeud, I have erred. For some reason, I forgot that Jake was not officially on the blogroll a year ago. Perhaps his dominion of KotPG supplemented my misstep.

Jolly good chap, when I inferred newer bloggers, my mind was considering those who have had short stays on the front page this past year. For example, perma beardogs and floozies writing about the latest trends at Dandy & Gabbanas. (event specific bloggers excluded, Dr.Cane, etc)

Apologies. I mean to say, the current blogroll plus Alpha would be exceptional.

Blogs, twitter, etc. epitomize the unreasonable, emotional nature of humans. No stoicism whatsoever – and that’s exactly what’s needed most of the time.

I’m buying a litte Ebay here.

Talking with a fellow trader today about the Stock. Agrees with me the actually site is shitty. People don’t like it a much. Most of the players on it are professional players/suppliers and they aren’t very happy with the delivery of the service. The key value in the stock is pay pal which is the safest way to pay for shit over the web. Thinks it’s worth a ton more money than what it’s doing. The key to it is getting people to link their bank accounts rather than credit cards and there seems to be this migration happening which means they keep all the earnings.. thinks a much higher valuation ought to be ascribed to Ebay because of Pay pal.

Fly, this is my first post but as a first time commenter, short term(but dedicated) reader, i would like to say this: Unemployment numbers are about as important to the market as one of the coked out cnbc “analysts” climbing out of a tanning bed ready to do a line on the glass coffee table. We are in the 21st century for fuck’s sake, an Iphone has proven to be more proficient than 26 entry level employees why shouldn’t unemployment be high? the same fucksticks who were concernened about unemployment numbers when factory’s employed robots instead of wig’s from 8-mile can shit themselves all they want. . . dow 20,000
