  15. omfgitsjd says:

Obviously I need to learn a little more about Dennis Kneale. I don’t know a damn thing about him other than he’s reached epic popularity at IBC.

  16. omfgitsjd says:

    Oh, a journalist. Nifty.

  17. Juiceyfruit says:

Don’t download Firefox 3.5 … deleted all recent bookmarks … I have bookmarks from a year ago … fuck me! fuckers .. who do they think they are, MSFT?

  18. DPeezy says:

    Nonsense. FF3.5 works just fine.

    As they say, Juicy, PEBKAC.

Might wanna check the profiles for Firefox…perhaps you told it to revert to an older one during the install…

  19. Yogi & Boo Boo says:

Juicy - Don’t go too far. It’s happened to me before with an upgrade gone bad. There is a recovery process, and it works. Google it but don’t wait too long. I think the auto backups of bookmarks is 5 day’s worth. Then backup your bookmarks. DP is correct they are in your profile. good luck.

  20. Yogi & Boo Boo says:

    Juicy If you’re using windows: C:\Documents and Settings\{USERNAME}\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\{PROFILE_NAME}\bookmarkbackups

    Hope this helps.

payrolls was one shitty little number. By rights stocks ought to take it up the backside today.

Ireland was also downgraded with it’s debt brought down a notch by moodys.

  28. omfgitsjd says:

This Bloomberg article from last April is implying that the first case of a swine flu death was an Archeologist who met with President Obama one day earlier in Mexico city. If that’s true, it means that the virus was festering in the Archeologist long before he met with President Obama. What the hell?

  42. TraderCaddy says:

Throw in Tibet, two cases of ping pong balls, and an NBA franchise in China then the Chicoms would be real happy.
Obama will then work on giving Israel to Hamas , Honduras to Chavez and keep Iran in the Mullah’s control.
    Oh wait, almost there.

  59. Joe says:

How we close today will be extremely important predictor of the market during the coming months. If the market rallies into the close (4th of july-upward bias, GS/JPM, whores of the FED, buying SP futures into the close of the week) than we have status quo…sideways to up market.
If no good rally attempt is made and we close at the lows, it’s all OVER. This is what I am betting on.

  60. Cash-N-Guns says:

mkt shits the bed into the close…..fuck GS…oh and MET and rest of insurance sector is about be gang raped by a mongolian goat herding gang

  61. Juiceyfruit says:

Even if one is losing money, one must love the irony of “The Dennis Kneale Recession Is Over, Selloff”.

Fucktard of the Highest Order of Fucktards.

  62. Joe's a genius. says:

    Great idea there joe.

How we close today determines what happens in the comes months? You’re not thinking too hard are you?

Oh hold on, but if GS,/JPM/Fed buy futures it could still recover.
But if the conspiratorial troika were unable to hold the dam it’s all OVER (upper case noted)

  63. blues says:

For you bulltards here and Fly, green shoot? What we have here is a jobless recovery! Green shoot! More like Green Poop!

  72. Jonas says:

    Fly,

I just saw your 60%+ profits on the side of a milk carton in a MISSING alert. I will keep my eyes peeled…but I am fairly certain you won’t be seeing them again anytime soon…unless of course you change your investment thesis.

Smarten up…or you will see 30% profits before you see anything north of 60% again.

    Jonas

  73. Aristotle says:

the Fly is out today, buying supplies for the big 4th of July celebration which may result in the burning of neighbor Steve’s house which will make way for the Fly to acquire his property and put in a large swimming pool and tennis court.

  74. 308 says:

TAP and SOLR are not doing too bad today, ESV is a buy at $33 area.

  75. TraderCaddy says:

Interesting action in chip co. XLNX.
Gave a downbeat forecast and was down about 4% pre-market.
    It is now +.

  76. 308 says:

Boring stuff: Citi coming out on CLF
Maintain Buy — We are looking past 2009 and expect CLF to regain operating
leverage in 2010 as production rebounds to 20 mln tons compared to 15 mln
    tons.
    BUT
We lowered our 2009 estimate to a loss of $0.21 from a profit of $0.20.
maintaining Buy/Speculative-Risk and $34 target price.

  77. TraderCaddy says:

Forgot to add another semi co. FORM (designs and manuf wafer cards). Whatever that is.

  78. ottnott says:

Apologies, Fly, but I had to vote for Queercents: We’re here, We’re queer, and We’re not going Shopping without Coupons

They are at the back of the pack, so no threat to iBC dominance.

  79. TraderCaddy says:

308- Does CLF have some relationship with Cleveland Cliffs?

  80. 308 says:

didn’t they used to be called cleveland cliffs or cleveland iron even before that….? news/ eps change isn’t really moving it anyway.

  81. Cash-N-Guns says:

Hoping a stray M-80 goes off in Michele Cabreras ear this weekend…
